Abstract: A mobile terminal includes a body configured to have a touch input thereon, a stereoscopic display unit formed at the body, and configured to display a stereoscopic image having different images according to a user's viewing angles, a sensing unit mounted to the body and configured to sense a user's position, and a detecting unit configured to detect, based on the sensed user's position, an image corresponding to a touch input on the stereoscopic image among the different images.

Abstract: An image depth control method is provided that include displaying a perceived 3-dimensional (3D) content on a display screen, recognizing a shape (or object) that faces the displayed 3D content, obtaining information about the recognized shape, determining a distance from the mobile terminal to the shape, and automatically changing a depth of the displayed 3D content based on the determined distance of the shape and the obtained information of the recognized shape.
