  • Publication number: 20230304091
Abstract: A minimally invasive kit for diagnosing a skin condition comprises: a device capable of quantifying the expression level of an RNA gene from a specimen extracted from the skin of a subject; and a microneedle patch including a plurality of microneedles having a solid structure and made of a bioidegradable polymer hyaluronic acid. When the microneedle patch is applied to the skin of the subject and is detached after applied for a predetermined time, a specimen from the skin of the subject, which has been attached to the microneedle surfaces of the microneedle patch or an extract therefrom, is quantitatively analyzed by the device, and the device quantifies an expression level of each skin condition-related RNA biomarker gene to be diagnosed from the specimen from the skin of the subject, which has been attached to the microneedle surfaces of the microneedle patch or the extract therefrom.

  • Publication number: 20190183405
Abstract: There are provided a micro-needle patch for diagnosing and treating an allergy disease which can easily and effectively inject an allergen into a dermal layer of an entity, a method for producing the micro-needle patch, and a method for diagnosing an allergy disease using the micro-needle patch. The micro-needle patch includes a plurality of micro-needles constructed to inject an allergen into an entity; and a pad for supporting the plurality of micro-needles. The micro-needle patch in accordance with the present disclosure may inject the allergen easily and effectively into the dermis of the entity, thereby to allow diagnosing or treating the allergy disease easily and efficiently without causing great pain to the patient. Further, controlling the type and content of the allergen contained in the micro-needle patch may allow diagnosing or treating allergy diseases accurately.
