Abstract: The present invention relates to a mobile terminal having a detachable sub-display unit. A mobile terminal having a detachable sub-display unit includes a first body unit having a first display unit to a front surface of the first body unit. The invention also includes a second body unit having a second display unit to a front surface of the second body unit, wherein a magnet is formed on at least a portion of one side surface of the first body unit and at least a portion of one side surface of the second body unit, and the second body unit can be detachably coupled to the at least one side surface of the first body unit by the magnet.

Abstract: A mobile terminal having a detachable sub-module is disclosed. The mobile terminal includes a sub-module having a sub-function configuration unit formed with parts for performing a function and a main terminal having a display unit at a front surface and a connection unit at a rear surface for coupling the sub-module to the main terminal. A magnet is installed at a side surface of the connection unit or the sub-module, and the sub-module is coupled to the main terminal or is detached from the main terminal through the magnet. Enhancement of the portability and function quality of mobile terminals that support various functions is achieved by coupling a sub-module for performing a function to the main terminal having a display unit that allows user interactivity with the mobile terminal.

Abstract: A mobile terminal having a wide display unit is provided. The mobile terminal includes a main body having a first display unit therein. The mobile terminal includes a folder unit having a second display unit at an inner surface opposite to the first display unit. The terminal also includes a sliding unit connected to one end of the folder unit to guide the folder unit capable of performing a slide movement. The terminal includes a hinge coupler to connect the sliding unit and the main body such that the sliding unit rotates based on the main body. The folder unit positions the second display unit to be adjacent to the first display unit by performing a slide movement toward the main body when the folder unit is opened as the sliding unit rotates based on the hinge coupler, and a wide display unit is formed when a surface of the first display unit and a surface of the second display unit become in a single plane. Thereby, mobility of a mobile terminal while providing a wide display unit can be provided.
