The washing machine comprises: a sensor for emitting white light, which includes infrared (IR) light, at washing water and receiving, from the white light emitted at the washing water, visible light of a specific wavelength and infrared light of a specific wavelength, which are reflected by the washing water or penetrate the washing water; and a processor for determining turbidity and the color of the washing water on the basis of the intensity and patterns of the visible light and the infrared light of the specific wavelengths, which are received from the sensor, and controlling an operation of the washing machine on the basis of the turbidity and the color of the washing water.

A control method of an electronic device for food management includes measuring intensity of light, which is irradiated with food and reflected, by wavelengths using an infrared sensor; obtaining state information of the food based on the measured light intensity information; and adjusting at least one of temperature and humidity of an area where the food is disposed in the electronic device based on at least one of the obtained state information and preset usage plan information of the food. Accordingly, food which is managed in an optimal state in consideration of a state of a food stored in an electronic device and a using method (consumption period and consumption method) of the food can be provided to a user.

    Abstract: A mixed dispersant which can improve the efficiency of dispersing metal powder by effectively adsorbing on the surface of the metal powder and preventing aggregation thereof, and a paste composition and a dispersion method using the same are provided. A multilayer ceramic capacitor (MLCC) is also provided. The mixed dispersant includes a basic dispersant and an acidic dispersant in accordance with the acidity and basicity of nickel metal powder and thus can achieve an optimal dispersion efficiency. An improvement in the dispersion efficiency as such can consequently suppress aggregation of the nickel metal powder during the preparation of a conductive paste composition containing a nickel metal powder, and therefore a larger amount of the nickel metal powder can be used in the paste composition. The increased amount of nickel metal powder allows producing an internal nickel electrode having improved electric properties and mechanical properties during the production of MLCCs.
