  • Publication number: 20060221122
Abstract: An inkjet head cleaning system including a solvent shower to spray a solvent toward a lower surface of the inkjet head for dissolving contaminants of the lower surface, a suction apparatus apart from the solvent shower to suck the dissolved contaminants, and an air blower apart from the suction apparatus to blow air toward the lower surface for drying the solvent. The inkjet head cleaning system and a method using thereof removes contaminants without damage of the under surface of the inkjet head by using solvent. A brush can also be used to remove hardened contaminants remaining on the inkjet head.

  • Publication number: 20060209107
Abstract: A liquid droplet spraying apparatus sprays a liquid droplet onto pixel regions arranged in a matrix shape. The liquid droplet spraying apparatus includes a first spraying section and a second spraying section. The first spraying section sprays a first liquid droplet onto a pixel region, the first spraying section moving along a first path. The second spraying section sprays a second liquid droplet onto the pixel region, the second spraying section moving along a second path. A liquid material is dropped multiple times by small amount, such that an accurate amount of the liquid material may be dropped. Advantageously, by dropping the liquid material by both of the first and second spraying sections, a time for dropping the liquid material may be reduced.

  • Publication number: 20060128832
Abstract: An ink composition for a color filter includes about 100 parts by weight of a pigment dispersion, about 7 parts by weight to about 65 parts by weight of a thermosetting resin having hydroxyl group at a side chain of the thermosetting resin, about 0.015 part by weight to about 1.5 parts by weight of a thermal initiator, about 0.8 part by weight to about 15 parts by weight of an epoxy-based resin containing fluorine, and about 15 parts by weight to about 165 parts by weight of a solvent. A color filter substrate is manufactured using the ink composition for color filter. The ink composition for the color filter improves straightness of ink jetting through an ink-jetting nozzle and prevents the ink composition from spreading to neighboring pixels.

  • Publication number: 20060073398
Abstract: A black matrix composition includes about 40 parts by weight of a pigment dispersion, about 0.1 to about 1.0 part by weight of a photoinitiator, about 5 to about 20 parts by weight of a photo-polymerizable monomer, about 5 to about 20 parts by weight of a binder resin including an acryl-based copolymer containing fluorine and having a hydroxyl group combined with a side chain of the acryl-based copolymer, about 0.1 to about 0.5 part by weight of epoxy-based monomer containing fluorine and about 35 to about 55 parts by weight of a solvent. A black matrix pattern formed of the black matrix minimizes an ink bleed, thereby improving color property of a liquid crystal display device to which the black matrix pattern is applied.
