In addition, necessary time stamps are set for complete Stream Object Units to be erasable to enable on the fly permanent erasure without any additional view into the streams or quick permanent erasure. Advantageously the temporarily erasure can also be completely withdrawn.

The recording medium includes a first region having a plurality of still pictures, and a second region having first virtual deletion information for the still pictures, and still picture group information for separating the still pictures in the first region into a predetermined maximum number of groups in order to manage the still pictures at a group level, wherein the first virtual deletion information is within the still picture group information, and if the first virtual deletion information is set to a virtual delete state, the corresponding still picture is not to be reproduced. Abstract: Provided are a multimedia data decoding apparatus, a method of receiving audio data using an HTTP protocol and an audio data structure used for the apparatus and method. The multimedia data reproducing apparatus comprises a decoder receiving AV data, decoding the AV data, and reproducing the AV data in synchronization with predetermined markup data related to the AV data; and a markup resource decoder receiving location information of video data being reproduced by the decoder, calculating a reproducing location of the markup data related to the video, and transmitting the reproducing location of the markup data to the decoder. Audio data is received using the HTTP protocol, not a complex audio/video streaming protocol, and is output in synchronization with video data.

Sizes of the interleaved blocks are integral multiples of sizes of integral numbered aligned units that include packets. A number of the angle points recorded on the information storage medium is computed so that a jumping distance required by the data during reproduction does not exceed a maximum jumping distance of a reproducing apparatus.
