  • Patent number: 7528790
Abstract: Techniques are provided to prevent undesired and/or unauthorized analysis and access to electronic components designs. A shield can be utilized to prevent invasive and/or non-invasive analysis methods such as the use of x-rays to determine the structural configuration and/or component makeup of an embedded antenna. In addition, a damageable material that can be utilized alone or in conjunction with the shield is also provided. When attempting to access the antenna and/or components included therein, any inappropriate force or exposure to certain elements, such as heat, will cause the material and the antenna and/or the components therein to be damaged or melted beyond a point of useful recognition for the entity. Furthermore, thin films can be utilized to construct one or more portions of the antenna to the same effect. In addition, the antenna and/or components can be configured for actively reconfiguring a resonant frequency of the antenna.

  • Patent number: 7301218
Abstract: Disclosed herein is a parallel capacitor of a semiconductor device. According to the present invention, a first capacitor and a second capacitor are formed in different layers of the same region, wherein a metal layer connected to an upper electrode of the first capacitor is formed in the same layer as a metal layer connected to a lower electrode of the second capacitor. Thus, twp capacitors can be connected in parallel only with a metal layer composed of three layers. Accordingly, the present invention is advantageous in that it can reduce process steps for forming multiple metal layers, lower a step and cut manufacture cost.

  • Patent number: 5382872
Abstract: An electron gun for a color cathode ray tube includes a last accelerating electrode having a large-caliber electron beam passing hole for commonly passing red, blue, and green electron beams. Both ends of the beam passing hole include circular arc portions formed with a predetermined curvature. The center portions where the green electron beam passes through protrude by a predetermined width. The length of the protrusion in the horizontal direction satisfies the following inequality: L<H-2R(1+cos .alpha.), where H designates the horizontal width of the large-caliber electron beam passing hole, R is the radius of the circular arc portions and .alpha. is the angle between a line drawn from either center of the circular arc portions to an adjacent apex of the protrusions and a line connecting centers of both circular arc portions.
