Abstract: A position determination device determines the position of a terminal. A signal of a sensor attached to one or both of a beacon and a terminal is sampled, so that a signal of the beacon may be transmitted and received only when the beacon or the terminal has moved. A plurality of beacons sequentially transmit beacon signals to determine the terminal position by determining a distance between the respective beacons and the terminal based on a time to receive the beacons. The device includes a beacon for transmitting a beacon signal; a terminal for receiving the beacon signal; and a first sensor attached to the terminal to sense movement of the terminal and to output a first sensing signal indicative of the sensed movement. The terminal has a reception mode for receiving the beacon signal and turns on/off the reception mode based on the first sensing signal.

Abstract: A system for detecting exit and entry for an interest region for automatically detecting entry and exit for an object in an interest region that is disclosed includes a wireless position sensor attached to an object to set an identification number and for transmitting a beacon having the identification number at a certain period, a wireless terminal for receiving the beacon from the wireless position sensor, extracting the identification number included in the beacon, and detecting entry and exit for the object using the extracted number of times of the identification number during a predetermined certain time and a Received Signal Strength Indicator (RSSI) of the beacon, a server system for receiving entry and exit detection information for the object from the wireless terminal.

Abstract: A power charging and selling device includes first and second connection units configured to be connected to an electric vehicle and at least one power supplier server, respectively; a control unit for receiving a unique identifier and battery information of the electric vehicle through the first connection unit and for receiving power-trading charge information provided from each power supplier server through the second connection unit; and a guide unit for advertising the received power-trading charge information and for enabling selection of a corresponding power supplier. Through the first connection unit, the control unit may charge the electric vehicle with the power of a selected power supplier or sell the power stored in the electric vehicle to a selected power supplier. The power charging/selling device receives charge information from power suppliers, and a user selects the charging/selling scheme accordingly, even if the power source of the electric vehicle is turned off.
