Abstract: The technology relates to a data communication system that processes data messages in a manner that improves the data communication between devices as well as the ability to provide surveillance over information contained within the data messages. In particular, the technology described herein relates to a system that extracts one or more elements from a data message and applies fuzzy mapping logic to the elements in order to generate a data element representing a symbol where the data elements are then stored and maintained in a database of the system.
