  • Publication number: 20200400019
Abstract: A drum-type shearer loader for the extraction of mineral material in the mining sector, has at least one shearer drum (1), which is mounted rotatably on a pivotable support arm (2) and which is driven by a drive motor (4) arranged at an end of the support arm (2), in the region of a support arm head (3). A compact drive unit for all operating states is provided with the drive motor (4) in the form of a permanent-magnet-excited synchronous machine which, during operation of the shearer drum (1), provides the entire drive power required for rotating the shearer drum (1).

  • Patent number: 10589936
Abstract: A continuous conveyor such as, for example, a conveyor belt for transporting heavy bulk materials or unit loads comprises an endless tractive transport mechanism that revolves between a driving roller and a return roller. The driving roller is driven by a permanently excited multi-pole synchronous motor that delivers a very high torque at a comparatively slow nominal speed. The synchronous motor can drive the driving roller directly or alternatively via a single-stage step-down gear with low reduction factor. The drive is characterized by a mass moment of inertia that is up to 10-times lower than in conventional drive systems. In this way, the risk of damaging or even tearing the belt during disruptions is substantially reduced such that the operational reliability significantly increases.

  • Publication number: 20140151197
Abstract: A continuous conveyor such as, for example, a conveyor belt for transporting heavy bulk materials or unit loads comprises an endless tractive transport means that revolves between a driving roller and a return roller. The driving roller is driven by a permanently excited multi-pole synchronous motor that delivers a very high torque at a comparatively slow nominal speed. The synchronous motor can drive the driving roller directly or alternatively via a single-stage step-down gear with low reduction factor. The inventive drive is characterized by a mass moment of inertia that is up to 10-times lower than in conventional drive systems. In this way, the risk of damaging or even tearing the belt during disruptions is substantially reduced such that the operational reliability significantly increases.

  • Patent number: 8349107
Abstract: The embodiments of the invention relate to a method for creating a force for a welding jaw of a vertical tubular bag machine. The welding jaw is moved back and forth along a path to strike a second welding jaw moving in the opposite direction. A tubular film is compressed between the second jaw and at least one sealing surface of the welding jaws, to weld the tubular film by ultrasonic vibrations applied thereto via the sealing surface at an applied pressure under a sealing force (Fs) within a sealing time (ts). The sealing force (Fs) is predetermined by a control unit such that the sealing force (Fs) runs along a sealing force curve within the sealing time (ts). The sealing force curve has a first relative sealing force maximum (Fs1) and at least one second relative sealing force maximum (Fs2), wherein (Fs1) is lower than (Fs2).

  • Patent number: 5067361
Abstract: Transmission series with a variable gear stage (variation stage) consisting of a pair of gearwheels. Within the series, the variation stage encompasses a range of permissible sizes (B.sub.i =B.sub.1 . . . B.sub.m) which in each case have the same centre distances (A.sub.i =A.sub.1 . . . A.sub.m). The same range of permissible transmission ratios (I.sub.i =I.sub.1 . . . I.sub.n) is provided for all sizes, so that the centre distances (A.sub.i) and the transmission ratios (I.sub.i) form a matrix (M). The number of components required is substantially reduced by correlating the graduation of the centre distances (A.sub.i) and the graduation of the transmission ratios (I.sub.i) in such a way that the same gearwheel is used in a variation stage sequence (S) comprising a number of variation stage sizes.
