Abstract: The systems and/or processes described herein enable multiple users to play a single player game, such as playing a game within a virtual environment. In response to one or more criteria associated with the single player game being satisfied, a multi-player mini game may be presented to the multiple users. The multi-player mini game may cause the multiple users to collaborate with one another to achieve a common goal or to compete against one another for the purpose of obtaining an award. During play of the multi-player mini game, a progression or performance of each of the multiple users may be displayed in real-time. In response to determining a winner of the multi-player mini game, an award may be provided to the winner. Then, the multiple users may resume play of the single player game.

Abstract: The systems and/or processes described herein may unlock, enhance, and/or upgrade one or more features of a game with respect to a user that is playing the game. While the user is playing the game, the systems described herein may monitor a performance or a progression of the user with respect to the game. Upon determining that a predetermined threshold or criteria has been satisfied, such as the user earning a cumulative amount of points or currency, one or more features of the game may be dynamically enhanced or upgraded. Alternatively, or in addition, one or more features of the game may be unlocked to the user, where those features were previously not available to the user. The unlocked, enhanced, and/or upgraded features may be persistently associated with the user such that those features may be available and accessible to the user when the user subsequently plays the game.

Abstract: The systems and/or processes described herein enable multiple users to play a game in a collaborative and/or competitive manner. Users that are playing the game may be provided with game moves that allow the users to take an action with respect to themselves, to take an action with respect to a different user in collaboration with that user, or to take an action with respect to a different user in competition with that user. In addition, one or more criteria associated with the game may be satisfied based at least in part on multiple users collaborating with one another during play of the game. An enhancement associated with the game may be provided to the collaborating users and may be based on the criteria being satisfied.
