  • Publication number: 20120121310
Abstract: An integrated cosmetic brush applicator system having both a brush section and reservoir section in which the brush can be pushed to an extended applicator position moveable out from the brush section an automatically pushed back into a retracted storage position when the brush section is tightly connected to the reservoir section. A push button assembly enables the brush to manually be pushed out from its retracted to an extended position permitting the brush to be used to apply cosmetic material. The brush is in contact with the reservoir section to allow cosmetic material to coat the brush when the system is in the closed position.

  • Patent number: 7785026
Abstract: A cosmetic stick applicator for treating the lips of a person. The applicator has an elongate, tubular body with an inner chamber for storing a chemical formulation or substance such as an exfoliant, to be applied to the lips. One end of the body has an external, oblique, lip-engageable abrasive applicator surface containing a product-dispensing orifice through which the substance can be ejected. Such ejection is accomplished by means of a finger-engageable wheel that is turned to forcibly discharge the substance through the orifices and onto the applicator surface. Thereafter this surface which now contains the discharged substance, is rubbed against the lips and thus effects a scrubbing thereof, which brings about gentle and controlled exfoliation of accumulated dead skin cells. Following this, excess dead cell material can be wiped off with a tissue or pad.

  • Patent number: 7503331
Abstract: A dual dispensing mode cosmetic compact for use with a cosmetic powder puff, cosmetic applicator sponge, or cosmetic brush, has a base member with an annular lip, a well to hold a cake of cosmetic material, and a closure lid receivable onto the base member. A scraper member located adjacent the well is engageable with the upper surface of the cosmetic cake. Finger-engageable structures adjacent to the well are turnable thereon, and there is a driving connection between the finger-engageable structures and the scraper member, which effects corresponding turning movement of the latter during turning of the finger-engageable structures. In one mode, the scraper member shaves off limited quantities of the upper surface of the cosmetic cake to produce controlled amounts of dust-like cosmetic powder particulates therefrom. In another mode, the scraper member is shifted by the user, to a second position remote from and outside of the annular lip.
