  • Publication number: 20160209316
Abstract: The invention concerns a method for determining the fouling ratio of at least one filter of a ventilation and/or air handling system(s) comprising the following steps: A. Selecting at least one filter to be analyzed B. Determining the theoretical filtration capacity of the filter selected in step A, depending on the theoretical efficiency of the filter and the maximum amount of dust which can be theoretically retained by the filter. C. Collecting pollution data of at least one air entering the ventilation system and passing through the selected filter, D. Measuring the air flow rate entering the ventilation system, E. Calculating the amount of dust retained by the at least one filter selected, from the pollution data of the entering air of step C and from the measurement of the entering air flow rate of step D, F. Repeating step E for each time step t. G. Determining the accumulated dust amount retained by the selected filter from the results of steps E and F. H.

  • Patent number: 8616242
Abstract: The invention relates to a system and to a method for controlling an aircraft engine starter-generator. The system comprises a transmission box (20) with a fixed gear ratio intended to be mechanically coupled to a turbine shaft (12) of the engine to allow the latter to be started, a gearbox (40) with multiple gear ratios that is mechanically coupled to a pinion of the transmission box, a starter-generator (30) mechanically coupled to a pinion of the gearbox, and means for instigating a change in gear ratio of the gearbox according to the mode of operation of the starter-generator.

  • Publication number: 20110237175
Abstract: The device (8) comprises a casing (10) defining an inner chamber (11) and having an inlet orifice (14) for fresh ventilation air (12), an inlet orifice (15) for recycled air (16), and blowing orifices (19) for blowing out air contained in the inner chamber, which are intended each to be connected to a reception room of the premises. Units (25) for heat-treating the air are each combined with a blowing orifice and are controlled independently of one another according to the setpoint temperature of the corresponding reception room. The method consists in feeding recycled air into the inner chamber only if that is necessary to achieve the setpoint temperature in a reception room, and in heat-treating the fresh ventilation air, and if appropriate the recycled air, independently room by room.

  • Publication number: 20110023517
Abstract: The invention relates to a facility for producing sanitary hot water for congregate housing (1) that comprises a plurality of water heaters (2) each intended to equip a plurality of individual dwellings (2) in the housing (1). Each water heater includes a tank (3) containing a fluid to be heated, each dwelling (2) being further equipped with at least one air extraction duct (4), in particular in the technical rooms (5), connected to an air extraction network (8) that is common to the different dwellings (2). Each dwelling further includes a heat exchange means (10) adapted for exchanging heat between the extracted air flowing in the air extraction duct (4) and the fluid contained in the tank (3) so as to heat the fluid in order to produce sanitary hot water.

  • Publication number: 20100326111
Abstract: The invention relates to a plant for producing sanitary hot water, that comprises a water heater including a tank (1) containing a fluid to be heated, and a controlled mechanical ventilation system (2) for extracting air from a dwelling, the controlled mechanical ventilation system (2) being coupled to a thermodynamic circuit (3) in which flows a coolant fluid, the thermodynamic circuit (3) including an evaporator (4) for exchanging heat with the extracted air, a compressor (6), an expander (8) and a condenser (7) for exchanging heat with the fluid contained in the tank (1). The ventilation system is equipped with a means for adjusting the flow of extracted air, e.g. based on hygrometry. The compressor (6) is a variable speed compressor capable of modifying the flow of the coolant fluid.
