  • Patent number: 9114870
Abstract: The present invention relates to an aircraft window, of the type including a holding frame for securing the window to the fuselage of an aircraft and at least one pane mounted in the holding frame by a sealing system, the at least one pane having an inner surface and an outer surface, characterized in that: the pane includes, in a first state called the rest state, at least one concavity in its outer surface when there is no pressure difference between the outer surface and the inner surface of the pane, and the at least one concavity of the pane is at least partially eradicated in a second state in which there is a pressure difference between the outer surface and the inner surface of the pane.

  • Publication number: 20030089388
Abstract: The structure, for the radial deployment of branches (7) about a mast (1) bearing a slide (6, 8) mobile between a position of deployment and a position of folding of the branches (7), is noteworthy in that each branch (7) is mounted pivotally, at a predetermined intermediary pivot point (9), on one end of a retaining arm (4), working in extension upon the passage to the position of deployment, in order to hold the intermediate point (9) at a given distance from an apex (5) of the mast to which is connected an apical end of the arm (4), retention being exerted against the action of the slide (6, 8) moving away from the apex (5) an end, hinge mounted, controlling deployment of the branch (7).

  • Patent number: 4938699
Abstract: Cut end (22) of an aquatic plant branch (18) is engaged in the mouth (21) of a gas release tube (19) which goes from a photosynthesis tank (2) containing branch (18).Tube (19) establishes a vessel (link 2) connecting photosynthesis tank (2) and a tank (4) in which a test tube (26) collects the release. Between the two tanks, the tube passes through a compartment (3) for observation of the release. The apparatus has a transparent bottom (16) allowing it to be placed on the light table of an overhead projector to project the image of the experiment on a screen.
