  • Publication number: 20230263230
Abstract: An aerosol-generating device is provided, including: a battery, and a heater configured to heat the battery, in which one or both of the battery and the heater are movably mounted in the aerosol-generating device, such that the battery and the heater are relatively movable towards each other between a near position and a distanced position, the near position being different from the distanced position. An aerosol-generating system including an aerosol-generating article and the aerosol-generating device, and a method for heating a battery in the aerosol-generating device, are also provided.

  • Publication number: 20230268575
Abstract: An electronic device is provided, including: a battery, and a heater configured to heat the battery as a first heating function of the heater, the heater being further configured to perform a second heating function, the first heating function being different from the second heating function, the electronic device being configured to switch between the first and the second heating functions of the heater in dependence on a temperature of the battery, the electronic device being an aerosol-generating device, and in which heating an aerosol-forming substrate is the second heating function. An aerosol-generating system including an aerosol-generating article and the electronic device, and a method for operating the electronic device, are also provided.

  • Patent number: 5601265
Abstract: A device for locking any apparatus on any support, notably a device enabling simple locking of a camera on a support such as a tripod. The device includes two attachment fittings that engage two hooking parts attached to the apparatus, wherein the attachment fittings are locked in their engaged position when two push-buttons fitted in the top plate of the support are both depressed under the weight of the apparatus. The two attachment fittings, linked together and spring-loaded, slide simultaneously to engage the two hooking parts.
