  • Patent number: 11640004
Abstract: A method includes outputting a plurality of simulated global navigation satellite system (GNSS) and interference signal pairs comprising a simulated GNSS signal and a simulated interference signal. Each of the simulated GNSS signals, or the simulated interference signals, has an associated reference signal. A calibration GNSS signal that combines the simulated GNSS signals and the associated reference signals, or a calibration interference signal that combines the simulated interference signals and the associated reference signals is received. A phase, time, or a power offset is calculated for the simulated GNSS signals based on the calibration GNSS signal and the associated reference signals, or for the simulated interference signals based on the calibration interference signal and the associated reference signals.

  • Publication number: 20210405211
Abstract: A method includes receiving, by a computing device, from a plurality of radiofrequency receivers, a plurality of baseband signals, each of the plurality of baseband signals formed from a radiofrequency signal from a GNSS antenna and a pilot reference signal, wherein the pilot reference signal is the same for each of the baseband signals. One or more of a phase offset, a time offset, or a power offset are calculated for each of the baseband signals based on the pilot reference signal. Each of plurality of baseband signals are adjusted based on the calculated phase offset, time offset, or power offset for each of the baseband signals.

  • Publication number: 20130272457
Abstract: The present disclosure provides methods for improving processing of GNSS signals. More particularly, the method reduces a bit resolution of a digital signal, by processing, based on a maximum threshold value and on a s-bit resolution value, the digital signal received with an n-bit resolution to generate requantized digital signal with the s-bit resolution. The method further determines an optimal gain of a Global Navigation Satellites Systems Radio Frequency (RF) signal recorder, by determining a range of values of a gain of the RF signal recorder corresponding to a selected range of values of a total noise of the RF signal recorder and RF signal receiver. The method also automatically detects disconnection of a RF signal recorder from a Global Navigation Satellites Systems (GGSN) Radio Frequency (RF) signal receiver, and synchronizes multiple RF recording systems.
