  • Patent number: 9789631
Abstract: A system and method (10) for heating objects (O) during a thermal treatment process in a production line (P) is described. The system (10) comprises a transport system (11), a minor arrangement (201, 202, 203, 204, 205, 206) comprising a first mirror surface (21, 21?, 21?) and a second minor surface (22, 22?, 22?) arranged at opposite sides, so that the objects (O) may be transported between the minor surfaces (21, 22, 21?, 22?, 21?, 22?) along the production line and a radiation device (30) comprising a number of lasers for generating light (L).

  • Patent number: 9000333
Abstract: The installation (10) is adapted for the heat treatment of objects, such as plastic preforms (17), and comprises a reflective device exhibiting a plurality of elongated and opened IR-reflective cavities stacked one onto the other according to a stacking axis and arranged to lodge elongated IR lamps (16) within, where the aperture of each cavity faces generally a main axis parallel to the stacking axis along which the object would be placed. The reflective device (20) further comprises protrusions separating the cavities one to the other and extending generally transversal/transverse to the stacking axis, the reflective device being made as at least one integral block of a heat-conductive material. The cavities may each comprise a curved bottom portion and two opposite side surfaces provided with respective longitudinal breaks of slope at a junction with the curved bottom.
    Type: Grant

  • Patent number: 8278805
Abstract: The present invention relates to a lamp assembly comprising a lamp (10) having a lamp vessel (101) with a longitudinal axis (CC). The lamp assembly comprises a support member (11) comprising a bottom surface (111) extending substantially along the longitudinal axis. Between the bottom surface and the lamp vessel, a reflective member (12) is supported by the support member and has a surface comprising a material with a melting temperature higher than 600° C.

  • Publication number: 20110262116
Abstract: Infrared filler of a light source for healing an object The invention relates to an optical interface for transmitting at least some infrared rays emitted from at least one light source so as to heat an object above a threshold temperature, wherein the object stops to transmit and absorbs from an infrared wavelength threshold, the optical interface comprising: a substrate; an interference filter on the substrate having an infrared spectral transmission T exhibiting: a first portion in the near infrared with high T, a second portion in the far infrared with low T, and an intermediary portion between first and second portions, comprising a spectral transition between high T and low T, having T=50% at a wavelength ?0 lower than the wavelength threshold; wherein, in a range of wavelengths, the mean value of low T is adjusted so that the light source can provide in this range a complementary heating energy necessary for the total healing temperature of the object exceeds the threshold temperature.
