  • Patent number: 10295448
Abstract: Disclosed is a method for the quality control of a component at least partially made of elastomer, particularly for a joint, including: a) carrying out at least one accommodation cycle on the component, the accommodation cycle involving applying a progressive compression force to the component and progressively releasing the compression force without pulling; b) applying a progressive compression force to the component in quasi static state according to a given component deformation predetermined profile; c) measuring the deformation of the component and the compression force applied while the compression force is applied; d) determining the conformity of the component under a loading other than that of the compression force of step b) from the measurement of the deformation of the component and the compression force applied.

  • Patent number: 9500258
Abstract: A pneumatic support includes first and second carrier elements, and first and second spring elements. Two middle transverse faces of the first and second spring elements are opposite each other and form a first working chamber and the opposite transverse face and the portion of the transverse wall are opposite each other and form a second chamber. A first hole provides communication between the first working chamber and the outside atmosphere and a second hole in the portion of the transverse wall provides communication between the second chamber and the outside atmosphere. The second spring element has low rigidity and an overall thickness that varies in a ratio of 1 to 2 and, at rest, the middle transverse face is separated from the middle transverse face of the first spring element, whereas the opposite transverse face is separated from the inner face of the portion of the transverse wall.

  • Patent number: 8397591
Abstract: A process for testing the quality, in particular the stiffness and the phase, of an elastic joint for connecting two other parts while filtering vibrations transmitted between these two other parts, said elastic joint being meant to work in axial, radial or torsional direction, disposing or not disposing of one or more hydro-elastic chambers and of two cylindrical concentric support elements, the inner support element being located to a large extend inside the volume defined by the outer support element, the two support elements being connected by a set of components made of rubber or elastomer or, if applicable, of plastic and metallic parts, wherein said support elements are themselves respectively attached to the two other parts which the elastic joint connects, wherein a technique of testing by impact is applied within the timing of the production line of the elastic joint, i.e.
