Abstract: A betting game is disclosed where betting amounts for tokens are shown to opponents at regular intervals; however, at each regular interval, the betting amount is shown for a previous time. During the game, players bid based on what they think other players will do, but only have lagged (prior time) betting information at any moment during the game, until the game ends. Once the game ends, players are paid out a percentage based on the placement of their tokens. Side bets by non-players may also be made which do not affect the placement of the tokens or pay-out to the players, the side bets having a pay-out based on a win/loss percentage forecast. The house (game administrator) may contribute to the winning pot or take a percentage of the winnings as a fee. Further, in some embodiments, players may enter more than one token, sometimes for an additional fee to be paid to the house or into the pot to be paid out.
