    Abstract: A method of preparing 1-butene and/or hexenes resides in dimerization of ethylene and/or co-dimerization of ethylene and propylene in an organic solvent under an increased pressure and at a temperature of 0.degree. to 100.degree. C. in the presence of a complex organometallic catalyst. The catalyst contains titanium alcoholate of the formula Ti(OR.sup.1).sub.4, where R.sup.1 is an alkyl radical having from 1 to 8 carbon atoms or aryl, trialkylaluminium of the formula AlR.sup.2.sub.3, where R.sup.2 is an alkyl radical having from 1 to 6 carbon atoms, an organomagnesium compound of the formula MgR.sup.2.sub.2 and/or MgR.sup.3 X, where R.sup.3 is an alkyl radical having from 1 to 4 carbon atoms and X is Br, Cl, or I.

    Abstract: The process for preparing copolymers of butyl acrylate and 1-(.alpha.-alkyl acrylate)-1-tert-butyl peroxy ethanes comprises performing emulsion copolymerization of butyl acrylate and 1-(.alpha.-alkyl acrylate)-1-tert-butyl peroxy ethanes in the presence of an initiating system consisting of sodium metabisulfite in an amount of 0.008 to 1.650% of the total mass of monomers and a compound of the general formula Na.sub.x H.sub.y S.sub.z O.sub.3, where "x" is an integer of 1 or 2, "y" is zero or 1, "z" is an integer of 1 or 2, said compound being in an amount of 0.002 to 0.360% of the total mass of monomers. In accordance to the required characteristics of the copolymers, i.e. extent of the final product swelling and the gel fraction content therein, the initiating system amount is determined from the formula: ##EQU1## c--amount of the initiating system, in % of the mass of initial monomers; .alpha.

    Abstract: A method for producing latices of copolymers of butyl acrylate and 1-methyacrylate-1-tert-butyl peroxy ethane resides in the emulsion copolymerization of butyl acrylate and 1-methacrylate-1-tert-butyl peroxy ethane carried out by prepolymerizing of butyl acrylate up to a conversion degree of 90-100% followed by introducing 1-methacrylate-1-tert-butyl peroxy ethane into the reaction mass. For a redox system, use is made of potassium persulfate and sodium metabisulfate.

    Abstract: Novel compounds according to the present invention, i.e. derivatives of .alpha.,.omega.-bis-alkyl esters of isobutyric acid having the formula: ##STR1## A method for preparing the above-specified novel compounds consists in reacting .alpha.,.alpha.'-azo-bis-isobutyric acid dinitrile and a saturated alkyl monohydric alcohol derivative of the formula ROH, wherein R: ##STR2## with gaseous hydrogen chloride in an organic solvent medium in the presence of 0.5-5% by mass of a water-soluble ether at a temperature within the range of from -5.degree. to +6.degree. C., followed by treating the resulting reaction mixture with water at a temperature of from 0.degree. to -5.degree. C. and isolation of the desired product.The novel compounds according to the present invention are useful as initiators for a radical-type polymerization of ethylenically unsaturated compounds, as well as the starting products for the manufacture of reactive polymers by a simplified process.

    Abstract: The process for producing mineral fillers with graft peroxy groups for polymers according to the present invention comprises treatment of mineral fillers, at a temperature of from 50 to 150.degree. C. under a pressure of from 1.33.10.sup.2 to 4.10.sup.5 Pa (lmmHg to 4 atm), with an organosilicon compound of the formula:R.sub.4-y SiX.sub.y or R'R.sub.3-z SiX.sub.z, whereinR is vinyl, allyl, norbornyl,X is chlorine, an alkoxy or acyloxy,y=1-3,z=1-2,R' is methyl, ethyl, propyl,whereafter the mineral filler containing graft unsaturated groups is separated from the reaction mixture, dried and ozonized with an ozone-oxygen mixture containing 4 to 6 vol.% of ozone at a temperature of from -40.degree. to +20.degree. C.The process for producing mineral fillers with graft peroxy groups for polymers is technologically simple and makes it possible to perform extending and grafting of a polymer at lower temperatures (50.degree.-140.degree. C.).

    Abstract: According to the invention, the method for producing mineral polymer fillers containing graft hydroperoxide groups consists in treating mineral fillers at a temperature of 50.degree. to 150.degree. C. and a pressure of 1.33.10.sup.2 to 4.10.sup.5 Pa (1 mm Hg to 4 atm) with organosilicon compounds of the general formula:R.sub.4-y SiX.sub.yorR'R.sub.3-z SiX.sub.z,whereR is vinyl, allyl or norbornyl,X is chlorine, alkoxy or acyloxy,y=1-3,z=1-2,R' is methyl, ethyl or propyl,whereupon the mineral filler containing graft unsaturated groups is separated from the reaction mixture, dried and ozonized with an ozone-oxygen mixture containing 4 to 6 percent by volume of ozone at a temperature of -20.degree. C. to +20.degree. C. in an aliphatic saturated monohydric alcohol or aliphatic saturated monohydric acid.The method for producing mineral polymer fillers containing graft hydroperoxide groups is quite simple and makes it possible to carry out the filling and grafting of polymers at a reduced temperature of 50.degree.

    Abstract: The process for producing shock-proof graft copolymers of styrene with synthetic rubber consists in that rubber is dissolved in styrene at a maximum temperature of 75.degree. C. The resultant solution is subjected to prepolymerization by being heated to 75-85.degree. C. in the presence of a plasticizer and a peroxide initiating agent. The peroxide initiator is essentially a composition of the following formulation (in parts by weight): diacylated peroxides of aliphatic acids C.sub.3 -C.sub.5, 2 to 8; diacylated peroxides of aliphatic acids C.sub.6 -C.sub.9, 80 to 89; diacylated peroxides of aliphatic acids C.sub.10 -C.sub.12, 7 to 14. The prepolymerization process proceeds until the 25-40 percent styrene conversion. The result is the prepolymer which is exposed to aqueous-suspension polymerization by being heated in an aqueous medium to maximum 140.degree. C.
