  • Publication number: 20220239779
Abstract: Systems and methods for providing side-channel communications to supplement a shared communication channel are provided. Participant devices within a side-channel communication group are configured to receive a first audio stream associated with the shared communication channel and a second audio stream associated with the side-channel communication group. A host platform or a participant device may mix the first and second audio streams to produce a composite output audio stream that enables users to listen to both audio shared to shared communication channel and audio generated by other members of the side-channel communication group.

  • Patent number: 10455378
Abstract: A system and method for generating analytics based on creating interactions in the form of conversations for launch within applications are described. The analytics are further based on the data received by users of the applications in response to the conversations. Application developers can be supported in creating the conversations using software development tools to create one or more conversations and to configure the conversations for launch to one or more applications. Application users can respond to the conversations and the responses can be assessed by the processors associated with the software development tools to produce analytics to the application developers, as well as third-party platforms.

  • Publication number: 20180331979
Abstract: A system and method of creating interactions in the form of conversations for launch within applications, and generating analytics based on the data received by users of the applications in response to the conversations, are described. Application developers can be supported in creating the conversations using software development tools to create one or more conversations and to configure the conversations for launch to one or more applications. Application users can respond to the conversations and the responses can be assessed by the processors associated with the software development tools to produce analytics for a number of uses, including for creating subsequent conversations and for communicating with third-party platforms.

  • Patent number: 8572275
Abstract: The invention is a system and method, with implementing computer program code, that automatically and dynamically formats an electronic mail (e-mail) message by extracting selected text and graphical components of a web page and “wrapping” the extracted computer data about the e-mail message. Thus the extracted data forms a border about the e-mail message. The invention provides for the use of company designs and trademarks in e-mail messages without the addition of local software components resident on the user's computer, and without compromising the functionality of standard e-mail software programs. The invention wraps the e-mail received through a gateway server and sends out the wrapped e-mail to the destination (recipient) designated by the sender in the original, unwrapped message.

  • Publication number: 20120123926
Abstract: According to an exemplary embodiment of the present invention, an interactive information system for providing user data is stated, in which a control unit pre-processes data selected from raw data received from at least one individual data source. The selected pre-processed data is then transmitted to a user interface device where it is further processed and interactively displayed. User data is transmitted as an array of data points to the user interface device via a data packet of a fixed maximum size. User data may be transported to the user interface device, even in the case if the network connection between the control unit and the user interface may be very bad, i.e. the network connectivity and/or the bandwidth are very low.

  • Publication number: 20110069769
Abstract: According to an exemplary embodiment of the present invention, a data communication is provided, in which data is encoded into a data package of a fixed maximum size and transmitted to a receiving station. The receiving station decodes and further processes the data package on the basis of a decoding procedure in combination with processing information stored in the receiving station. The data belongs to a particular data group and a processing information relates to the particular data group.
