  • Publication number: 20240035609
Abstract: The invention relates to the field of pipeline construction and repair, and in particular to a bimetallic protective sleeve for a weld seam of pipelines. The sleeve comprises a sleeve body, centering stops and two rubber collars. The sleeve body is made of stainless steel and configured as a ring having flared ends. The centering stops have a trapezoidal shape and evenly distributed along a transverse axis of symmetry of the sleeve body. The rubber collars are arranged symmetrically relative to the centering stops along the perimeter of the ends of the sleeve body. The technical result consists in increasing the reliability of the protective sleeve.

  • Publication number: 20240003467
Abstract: The proposed utility model relates to production tubing, and more particularly to tubing that is suitable for a whole range of operations related to the oil industry, geological prospecting and drilling. A bimetallic production tubing comprises a main outer pipe made of carbon steel and, immediately adjacent same, a thin-walled inner pipe made of stainless steel. The thin-walled inner pipe is fitted inside the outer tube by plastic deformation of the thin-walled inner pipe such as to lie in complete and direct contact with the inner surface of the main outer pipe. The technical result of the claimed utility model is that of simplifying the structure of a production tubing, while at the same time increasing the durability thereof.

  • Patent number: 5993796
Abstract: The present invention is directed to a biocompatible polymeric material and methods of making prepared by forming a mixture of collagen, a water-soluble ethylenically unsaturated compound and a cross-linking agent at a temperature of 30.degree. C. to 42.degree. C.; adjusting the pH of the mixture to 3.2 to 5.0; and polymerizing the mixture. The resulting material is rinsed in a physiologic solution at a temperature of 25.degree. C. to 80.degree. C. The resulting polymeric material has a modules of elasticity in the range of 10 to 27.times.10.sup.5 N/m.sup.2. Mechanical strength of the polymeric material is 20 to 100 times greater than polymeric material prepared by known methods. The material is optically transparent and is characterized by 95% or more light transmission in the visible spectrum and by resolution of 200 lines per mm for a +20D intraocular lens. The material is characterized by low protein absorption of about 0.1.times.10.sup.-3 .mu.

  • Patent number: 5846950
Abstract: A pharmaceutical composition for promoting the proliferation of human corl endothelium comprising:1 ml of 0.15M phosphate buffer, at pH 7.4;400-800 .mu.g of heparin;1.0-5.0 .mu.g of Cu.sup.2+ ;37.5-375 .mu.g of /3-0-b-D-gelactopyranosyl-(1-4)-0-(2-acetamido-b-D-glucopyranosyl-6-sulfat e)-1/as the salt of a basic metal; and12.5-125 .mu.g of copolymer (b-gucuronic acid (1-3)-N-acetyl-b-galactosamino-4-(or 6-) -sulfate-(1-4) as the salt of a basic metal. Such a composition is particularly useful for promoting the proliferation of human corneal endothelium in conditions associated with cataract extraction followed by artificial lens implantation, wherein the composition is injected into the patient's anterior eye chamber in an amount of between 0.2-02.25 ml, immediately after performing the operation. In all other cases, the pharmaceutical composition is injected into a patient's anterior eye chamber by phonophoresis in a continuous mode, at intensity 0.1-0.3 V/cm.sup.
