  • Publication number: 20250114168
Abstract: Methods and apparatuses (including software) for determining and/or locating dental ridgelines may include identifying patterns corresponding to two or more ridgeline point locations for individual teeth in the 3D model of the patient's dentition and determining a ridgeline for the teeth based on identified patterns corresponding to the two or more ridgeline point locations. The determined dental ridgelines can be used to determine a dental treatment plan. Also described herein are methods and apparatuses for identifying and quantifying round trip tooth movements in a treatment plan. The round trip tooth movements may be used as a basis for adjusting the treatment plan by reducing the amount of round trip movement or eliminating the round trip movement from the treatment plan.

  • Patent number: 12242869
Abstract: Disclosed are systems and methods for providing improved rendering of graphical user interfaces for remote applications executing within remote sessions. A remote session client that renders the graphical user interface (GUI) for a remote application is configured to detect certain mouse events that would trigger window move events. In doing so, the remote session client may handle rendering the window GUI locally rather than wait for window move events from the remote application. The remote session client may be further configured to predict using calculated resize patterns how the window content image changes while the remote application's window is being resized.

  • Patent number: 12057992
Abstract: Example implementations include a method, apparatus and computer-readable medium for processing excess event messages using a mobile application, comprising rendering, via the mobile application, a first view displaying first state information of a control panel configured to receive event information from one or more sensors in a physical location. The implementations further include controlling, data flow of a plurality of event messages generated by the control panel. Additionally, the implementations further include selecting one or more event messages of the plurality of event messages from the processing queue based on a dispatch timer and a dispatch threshold. Additionally, the implementations further include generating a second view based on processing of the one or more event messages and blocking processing of the processing queue. Additionally, the implementations further include rendering the second view displaying second state information of the control panel.

  • Patent number: 11952438
Abstract: A 1,3-dipolar compound including an epoxide group is provided. The epoxide group is a 3-membered ether ring in which a first member is a carbon atom having an attachment to the dipole of the 1,3-dipolar compound and a second member is a tertiary or quaternary carbon. The use of the 1,3-dipolar compound in the modification of a diene polymer makes it possible to improve the rupture properties of a rubber composition comprising the modified polymer, without the expense of its hysteresis properties, while at the same time improving its implementation.

  • Patent number: 11755348
Abstract: Text entry is a significant part of human-computer interactions. Software application vendors have sought to minimize time spent on repeated input of defined information. However, such approaches have limitations which the inventors have addressed such that field population is contextually aware either so that specific sets of user entered data are not accessible in all situations, only specific sets of user entered data are accessible in all situations, sensitive data is automatically removed from data being stored and a specific set of data to be employed based upon a context of the user and/or software application. Further, enhancements to address the additional complexities of remote clients are presented allowing a filling or auto-fill process to follow the program rules, follow text attributes etc. whilst supporting input from different sources such as a keyboard (physical or virtual), human interface devices (HIDs), clipboard(s), another remote client or virtual device.

  • Patent number: 11550993
Abstract: Techniques for an ink experience with images are discussed herein. In various implementations, an image is displayed via an image management application for viewing and/or editing images. In conjunction with interaction scenarios provided via the application, an inking mode for adding inked annotations to the image is enabled. Input to apply one or more inked annotations to the image is obtained, such as via finger touches on a touchscreen, drawing with a stylus, camera-based gestures, or other natural input mechanisms. Responsive to obtaining the input, data blocks corresponding to the one or more inked annotations are appended to an image file as additional data blocks for the image.

  • Publication number: 20210316401
Abstract: The invention relates to methods for creating and detecting images inside diamonds that carry information for various purposes, for example, an identification code, marks identifying diamonds. A method for creating an optically permeable image inside a diamond is disclosed, in which image consists of a given set of optically permeable elements of micron or submicron size, which elements are disturbances in the periodicity of the diamond crystal structure. The image created in the diamond is a mark consisting of the given set of optically permeable elements of micron or submicron size. The elements are disturbances in the periodicity of the diamond crystal structure with the participation of chemical elements of impurities formed at vacancies and interstitials in the volume of micron or submicron size. Methods and systems for detecting optically permeable images inside diamonds are also disclosed.

  • Publication number: 20210171669
Abstract: A diene polymer including at least one specific epoxide side group, one of the carbon atoms of which simultaneously has an attachment to the polymer chain and is a trisubstituted carbon, and the other carbon atom is an at least trisubstituted carbon is provided. The introduction of such a polymer, in particular elastomer, into a rubber composition makes it possible to improve its rupture properties without this being at the expense of its hysteresis properties, while at the same time improving its implementation.
