  • Patent number: 12351331
Abstract: A refueling system for hydrogen fuel cell-powered aircraft is disclosed. The system includes a compressor to receive a source of low temperature, high pressure hydrogen gas and compress the low temperature, high pressure hydrogen gas into a higher temperature, higher pressure hydrogen gas. A compression chamber within the compressor to receive the higher temperature, higher pressure hydrogen gas from the compressor. A valve coupled with the compression chamber to reduce the pressure of the higher temperature, higher pressure hydrogen gas to a higher temperature, lower pressure hydrogen gas. A storage container on an aircraft to receive the higher temperature, lower pressure hydrogen gas via the pressure relief valve. A heat exchanger in thermal cooperation with the compression chamber, the heat exchanger configured to absorb heat from the compression chamber and convert the heat into storable energy.

  • Patent number: 8035988
Abstract: The present invention provides methods and systems for repeatably creating and severing a short circuit to protect an electronic component from ESD. A short circuit may be formed between read sensor pads of a read sensor by depositing a shorting material on a magnetic head using a Laser Induced Forward Transfer (LIFT) process. The short circuit may be unshorted using a laser scan configured to sever the shorting material. In one embodiment, a shorting station may be provided to prevent spreading of the shorting material to undesired areas of the electronic component.

  • Publication number: 20050070465
Abstract: The inventive polypeptide is embodied in the form of a similar fragment of the epidermal growth factor of aminoacid ranging from 21 to 31 and capable of efficiently binding with the receptor of the epidermal growth factor as a vector for the directed supply of anticancer agent to tumour cells. The inventive conjugate of said polypeptide contains doxorubicine and has a selective action on cancer tumours and can substantially reduce the resistance of tumour cells with respect to the anticancer agents, the conjugated parts of said agents being binded with the aid of a chemical bond which is unstable in relation to acid hydrolysis. The inventive pharmaceutical composition comprises an efficient quantity of conjugate and a carrier which is fit for intravenous injection. Said invention can be used for medicine for treating cancer patients.
