  • Patent number: 11237178
Abstract: A device for monitoring the spatial and temporal dynamics of thrombin that includes a temperature-controlled sealed chamber with a transparent window and a light trap, the chamber being filled with a fluid medium and designed to accommodate a cuvette containing a test sample of blood plasma, and a coagulation activating insert placed into the cuvette, at least one illumination source and at least one first irradiation source and at least one second irradiation source capable of exciting a fluorescence signal of a special marker that forms in the sample during cleavage of a fluorogenic substrate, a camera, a pressure adjustment element capable of maintaining a pressure inside the chamber, the at least one first irradiation source provides irradiation of the sample in a direction perpendicular to the cuvette, and the at least one second irradiation source provides irradiation of the sample at an angle to the cuvette.

  • Patent number: 9958430
Abstract: The invention relates to the field of medicine and biology. A device for monitoring of spatial coagulation of blood and its uses for diagnostic and research purposes is described. The device includes a thermostatically controlled chamber, at least one means of illumination, a means of recording connected to the thermostatically controlled chamber. The thermostatically controlled chamber includes a cuvette to place a sample of a test medium, a light trap, and is filled with a substance suitable for temperature regulation. The light trap is formed by geometry of the inner surfaces of the thermostatically controlled chamber.

  • Patent number: 9938563
Abstract: The invention relates to the field of biotechnology. The method for determining the spatial and temporal distribution of the activity of a proteolytic enzyme in an in vitro heterogeneous system, such as blood or blood plasma, involves the introduction of a luminescent, fluorogenic or chromogenic substrate into a sample with the subsequent release of a detectable tag as the proteolytic enzyme cleaves the substrate, and the recording of the optical characteristics of the sample, which makes it possible to assess the spatial and temporal distribution of the activity of the enzyme. The device for the implementation of the above method comprises an in vitro system, a means for illuminating the sample, a recording means and a control means. A method for diagnosing homeostatic imbalances according to a change in the spatial and temporal distribution of the activity of a proteolytic enzyme in a blood sample is also proposed.
