    Abstract: The present disclosure refers to a method for producing a laminated holographic display comprising the following steps; providing a display precursor, wherein the display precursor comprises a first glass layer, a second glass layer, an unrecorded photopolymer film layer, which is arranged between the first glass layer and the second glass layer, and a polymer film layer, which is arranged between the unrecorded photopolymer film layer and the second glass layer, wherein the providing step is performed in the absence of ambient light; laminating the display precursor to obtain a display laminate, wherein the laminating step is performed in the absence of ambient light; and recording a hologram in the display laminate by applying a light beam to the unrecorded photopolymer film layer of the display laminate to obtain a recorded photopolymer film layer comprising the hologram, wherein the recording step is performed in the absence of ambient light.
