  • Publication number: 20250048505
Abstract: A household appliance apparatus, in particular a cooktop apparatus, includes a temperature sensor unit which includes a photodiode designed to detect incident infrared radiation and to convert the incident infrared radiation into a measurement signal. The measurement signal is amplified by an amplifier of an amplifier unit. A compensation unit at least partially compensates for a temperature influence as the infrared radiation is converted into the measurement signal and/or the measurement signal is amplified.

  • Patent number: 12195809
Abstract: A method—implemented in vitro—for the diagnosis and/or prognosis, preferably in the early stage, of benign or malignant neoplasms of the biliary tract is provided. The method is based on the selection and measurement of the hypermethylation levels of a genetic locus in samples of nucleic acids extracted from tumor tissues and from minimally and/or non-invasive matrices from patients with BTC and a relative comparison of the hypermethylation levels with levels of the same marker in non-tumor samples. A kit for carrying out the above method is also provided.

  • Patent number: 12182328
Abstract: A wearable electronic device includes an electrode array for transdermal stimulation of a sensory nerve that itself innervates a body part distal to a worn location of the wearable electronic device. The transdermal stimulation is configured to induce an electrical current or voltage that evokes a sensory impression at an area innervated by the sensory nerve, not at the stimulated sensory nerve itself. In one implementation, the wearable electronic device takes a finger ring form factor worn on a proximal phalanx of an index finger. In this configuration, the wearable electronic device can stimulate a portion of a branch of the median nerve extending through the index finger. Upon stimulation of the median nerve, a user wearing the finger ring may perceive pressure applied to the user's fingertip.

  • Patent number: 11730098
Abstract: A hydroponic growing system is presented. The system can include multiple growing trays in a vertical arrangement, where a pump supplies the top-most tray and each lower tray is supplied by the overlying tray, and where the plumbing elements for supply and drainage are arranged to one side of the system. The system includes variations to support different crop types within the same system, including removable growing structures for root vegetable, microgreens and supports for vining crops. The system can monitor and adjust the nutrients and other features of the systems water profile to concurrently group multiple crops in differing developing stages.
