  • Patent number: 10273086
Abstract: A conveyor belt (1) for conveying a good in a belt travel direction, comprising magnetic markers (21,22) embedded into the belt, the magnetic markers (21,22) being arranged in at least one row (2) parallel to the belt's travel direction, characterized in that a) the magnetic markers (21,22) are formed of a matrix of an elastomeric, thermoplastic elastomeric or thermoplastic material with particles of a ferromagnetic material embedded therein, b) the matrix is filled with the ferromagnetic material particles in an amount of 60 to 90 vol %, based on the sum of matrix and ferromagnetic material particles; c) the geometric thickness of the markers is 30 to 70% of the overall thickness of the belt; and d) the ferromagnetic material has a maximum energy product (BH)max in the range of 30 to 100 k J/m3. The belt is suitable for prolonged use in single pass line-head inkjet printers and allows precise position determination of the belt.
