  • Publication number: 20200103099
Abstract: Disclosed is an outdoor light fixture assembly having a housing, a contact block, and a user serviceable light module. The housing has a first opening for receiving the contact block and a second opening for receiving the user serviceable light module. The contact block has at least one contact and a power wire. The contact block can be disposed relative to the first opening so that the at least one contact is accessible from inside the housing. The user serviceable light module light module is sized and shaped to transition between a connected position and a released position relative to the housing. The user serviceable light module has a cover and a circuit board supporting one or more light emitting diodes and having at least one contact pin. The light emitting diodes are arranged relative to the circuit board to emit light in a direction towards the second opening when the user serviceable light module is in the connected position.

  • Patent number: 10590296
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a piezoresistive ink composition for sensors production. This ink, change linearly their electrical resistivity with an applied deformation and can easily recover when the external applied stress is released. The composition comprises flexible polymers as thermoplastic elastomers from the styrene-butadiene-styrene family (SBS, SEBS or others), nanostructures of carbon or metal, polar solvents and dispersive agents. With this ink, the user can print the sensor with any desired geometry and use different printing techniques, including drop casting, spray, screen and inkjet printing.

  • Publication number: 20200048393
Abstract: Polar modifier systems based on a blend of DTHFP, ETE, TMEDA, DMTHFMA and/or functionally similar compounds with BDMAEE and SMT are used to make block copolymers having high levels of pendant vinyl double bond repeat units, which is through highly selective 1,2-bond butadiene addition, low vinylcyclopentane formation, unimodal narrow molecular weight distribution, and a low level of randomized co-monomer repeat units. The block copolymers have very high levels of 1,2-vinyl content and high 3,4-vinyl bond addition of the conjugated diene monomer and low vinylcyclopentane content. The polar modifier systems provide a fast polymerization rate, with a unimodal narrow molecular weight distribution. The polar modifier systems allow operation at a higher temperature than in prior art systems, which reduces cooling requirements.

  • Publication number: 20180332662
Abstract: A heating pad with a thermostatic control circuit coupled to a resistance heating element. The resistance heating element and an acrylic based polymer adhesive are glued between polyester film layers. The film layers and heating element are contained with a plastic sleeve. The thickness and properties of the polyester film and adhesive forms a fuse. The adhesive delaminates the polyester film at excessive temperatures causing the resistance heating element to sever thereby creating an open circuit that halts operation of the heating pad. The thermostatic control circuit includes a hysteresis circuit that compares analog signals across two thin film resistors to provide a control signal to a power controller to selectively vary the power output to the heating element. The thermostatic control circuit is an integrated circuit board disposed within the fused plastic sleeve.

  • Patent number: 9912081
Abstract: A cover assembly for an electrical connector at the end of a sheathed cable containing several insulated wires. An insulation piercing clip couples light bulb leads to the wires. A translucent housing encloses the light bulb, said insulation piercing clip, the entire section of unsheathed insulated wires, a portion of the electrical connector and a portion of the sheathed cable. The cover assembly is illuminated by the light bulb when power flows through the electrical connector and may be color coded to indicate connector function.
