  • Patent number: 5173525
Abstract: Vulcanized composite materials with an elastomeric, polyacrylic matrix and containing ferrite in the form of finely dispersed particles, which materials are endowed with physical and technological characteristics which make them suitable for the production of manufactured articles destined to the flooring of civil premises, of industrial premises, as well as of all of those premises which are designed to withstand conditions of intense traffic of both pedestrians and mechanical vehicles.

    Assignee: Enichem Elastomeri S.p.A.
Inventors: Sergio De Servi, Angelo L. Spelta
  • Patent number: 4237258
Abstract: Vulcanizable elastomers consisting of copolymers of acrylic esters are prepared by copolymerizing an alkyl acrylate with minor amounts of an ethylenically unsaturated monomer containing halogen, an ethylenically unsaturated monomer having an epoxy group, an ethylenically unsaturated carboxylic acid and, optionally, a polyene containing at least two non-conjugated double bonds. The new acrylic elastomers obtained have a high vulcanization rate and are useful in the manufacture of various shaped articles by processes involving a fast vulcanization cycle.
