    Abstract: A method for transmitting electromagnetic signals by a vehicle moving towards a target device including a communication system provided with a radiating system that receives and transmits electromagnetic signals, performs an alignment step with the target device to establish a first communication direction with the target device, communicates with the target device by orienting the radiating system to receive and transmit data along the first communication direction, and performs a subsequent phase for maintaining the alignment with the target device to determine a future position and an orientation of the radiating system with a sensor being operatively connected to an electronic control unit of the vehicle configured to implement control and/or driving assistance functions of the vehicle based on information received from the sensor, and ultimately orientates the electromagnetic signals emitted by the radiating system on the basis of the determined direction of communication.

The braking system comprises: at least one magnet (26) arranged to be movably mounted on the body (12), next to the spool (16), to generate eddy currents in the spool (16) by electromagnetic induction, as a result of the rotation of the spool (16); adjusting means (32, 38) associated to the at least one magnet (26) to adjust distance of the latter from the spool (16), thereby adjusting the intensity of the braking force applied onto the spool (16); and electronic control means (44) connected to the adjusting means (32, 38) and programmed to control the adjusting means (32, 38) so as to adjust the distance of the at least one magnet (26) from the spool (16), and hence the braking force applied onto the spool (16).

    Abstract: A method estimates tire pressure of vehicle. For each tire, signals or data indicative of angular velocity of the wheel with which the tire is associated are acquired. A subset of detected signals or data acquired in rectilinear vehicle travel condition is selected. Pressure relationship between tires of each pair of wheels of the same axle is determined by comparing the rolling radius of the wheel on which a first tire is mounted and the rolling radius of the wheel on which a second tire is mounted. A pressure relationship between tire pairs is determined for comparison between the mean value of the rolling radii of wheels of a first axle and the mean value of the rolling radii of wheels of a second axle. Ratios are calculated based on signals or data indicative of angular velocity of the wheels and on slippage of the drive wheels.
