  • Patent number: 10950147
Abstract: Features are disclosed for sealing system which is dynamically activated based on a vehicle's location within a geofence via a custom access application. Mobile application features are provided to securely adjust the seal state. Requests to change state are verified against location permissions indicating time or place where the seal may be disabled. The requests may also include specific a code known only to system users for authenticating requests.

  • Patent number: 10738510
Abstract: Features are disclosed for sealing system which is dynamically activated based on a vehicle's location within a geofence via a custom access application. The seal generates current location information. The current location information is compared to location permissions indicating time or place where the seal may be disabled. If the current location corresponds to an authorized unsealing location, the seal may disengage to allow access to the vehicle.

  • Patent number: 10692041
Abstract: Inventory systems may include storage locations or other elements that can be visually indicated by selective glowing triggered by received wavelengths. In one example, a selected storage location can be determined from among multiple storage locations. A set of one or more wavelengths may be determined that is operable, when received at multiple markers associated with the multiple locations, to cause one or more of the markers to emit a presentation that visibly indicates the selected storage location or provides a visible acknowledgement of an action associated with the selected storage location. Instructions can be provided to cause a wavelength source to emit the set of one or more wavelengths so as to reach the multiple markers and cause the presentation.

  • Patent number: 9792581
Abstract: Techniques for improving efficiency of an inventory system are described. In an example, based on instructions of a computing management module of an inventory system, a trigger associated with reading a marker may be triggered. The marker may be attached with an item available from an inventory space and may encode information about the item. The marker may be configured to present, in response to receiving a non-visible light wavelength, a visible indication of an attachment location of the marker. Further, based on the instructions and at least in part on the trigger, a light source may emit the non-visible light wavelength. The emission of the non-visible light wavelength may cause the marker to respond with the visible indication of the attachment location. The visible indication may facilitate a read of the marker by a reader of the inventory system to trigger an inventory action.

  • Patent number: 9792580
Abstract: Techniques for improving efficiency of an inventory system are described. In an example, operations of the inventory system may involve reading a marker attached with an item. The item may be available from an inventory space. Based on instructions of a computing management module of the inventory system, information about the item may be printed at a first location on a medium. Based on the instructions, a layer of disappearing ink may also be applied over at least a portion of the information. Further, based on the instructions, an identifier of the item may be printed at a second location on the medium. The medium, including the printed information, the layer of disappearing ink, and the printed identifier may form the marker.

  • Patent number: 9767432
Abstract: An inventory management system is described. The inventory management system may be configured to use thermal image data to determine that an item was successfully placed in a storage structure. As part of this process, thermal images may be processed to identify instances of temperature differences that correspond to the item. These temperature differences may be evidence of a recent touch by an operator or may be generated by temperature changing devices during item placement.
