  • Patent number: 9187926
Abstract: A screening for separating a protected area has a plurality of vertical supports with removable panels between the supports. Upper attachment members on the supports have a vertical channel for slideably receiving a complementary attachment member on the panel. A hook on one attachment member engages a catch on the other to retain the attachment members together. The lower end of the panel is retained between parallel flanges on the vertical supports. A tool is provided to release the hook for removal of the panel from the vertical supports.

Date of Patent: November 17, 2015
    Assignee: L&P Property Management Company
Inventors: Robert William Machacek, Sergio Meza, Matthew Johnson, Mark Douglas Wynne
  • Patent number: 8870245
Abstract: A latch receiver for receiving the hook of a hook latch has a metal C-shaped outer guard cover with parallel spaced apart side panels defining an open end that is a little wider than the width of the spaced apart sides of the latch enclosure. The C-shaped guard cover further has a planar back panel from which the side panels extend. Within the guard cover and spaced from the back panel is a rectangular receiver plate. Above and below the receiver plate are upper and lower end plates that support the receiver plate.

  • Patent number: 8607844
Abstract: A screening for separating a protected area from a more accessible area includes a plurality of vertical supports with panels retained between the supports. The upper or lower ends of the panel are retained on pivot pins while the end of the panel opposite the pivot pins is removably locked to the support. The locking structure includes a latch that can be released from a position outside the enclosure and a lock that is lockable and unlockable from inside the enclosure. When the lock is actuated, the latch cannot be unlatched until the lock is subsequently unlocked.

  • Publication number: 20120103036
Abstract: An enclosure for a lock mortise has parallel opposing side panels, parallel opposing upper and lower panels, a rear panel, and a forward opening for receiving the lock mortise. The panels are made of a suitable metal. Where the edges of two panels intersect, a tab is provided along the edge of one panel and a notch is provided along the edge of the intersecting panel wherein the tab of the first panel is received in the notch of the second panel.

  • Publication number: 20060287397
Abstract: New anticonvulsant compounds were synthesized and they include the compounds: DL-2-hydroxy-2-(3?,5?-bistrifluoromethylphenyl)butyramide, DL-2-hydroxy-2-(4?-trifluoromethylphenyl)butyramide, DL-2-hydroxy-2-(3?,4?-dichlorophenyl)butyramide, DL-2-hydroxy-2-(3?-bromophenyl)butyramide, DL-2-hydroxy-2-(4?-bromophenyl)butyramide, DL-2-hydroxy-2-(3?-nitrophenyl)butyramide, DL-3-hydroxy-3-(3?,4?-dichlorophenyl)pentanamide, DL-3-hydroxy-3-(4?-bromophenyl)pentanamide, DL-4-hydroxy-4-(3?,4?-dichlorophenyl) hexanamide and DL-4-hydroxy-4-(4?-bromophenyl)hexanamide. They have a significant anticonvulsant activity against pentylenetetrazol-induced seizures as well as unexpected differences in anticonvulsant activity respect those of the non-halogenated compounds. The invention further provides methods for the synthesis of the DL-hydroxy-alkyl-phenyl amides as exemplified in the examples.
