    Abstract: Disclosed is a system for preventing scaling and deposit formation in a sterile air heat exchanger of a system for aseptic packaging within laminated carton packages, and a process for eliminating hydrogen peroxide residues in aseptic laminated carton packaging systems, characterized in that it comprises providing a supply of water for scrubbing sterile air that has the following properties: (a) maximum conductivity at 20° C. of 2.0 micromhos; and (b) a maximum silica content of 0.1 ppm.
