    Abstract: A cover for a cage is provided. The cage is configured to guide a signal connector towards an interface for connection with the signal connector. The cover is attachable to a first surface of the cage for thermally coupling the signal connector received within the cage to a heat sink disposed outside the cage. Each fiber padding comprises a padding length of fiber configured to offset at least a part of a latency imbalance at the respective pair of coupled channels, the latency imbalance being a difference in latencies between the respective upstream and downstream channels caused by a difference in the multiplexing or demultiplexing path lengths of the respective upstream and downstream channels.

    Abstract: A device for use with a fan. The device includes a shaft mounted at opposite ends via brackets to a housing of the fan, a curtain for blocking airflow through the fan in a closed position, the curtain being wound onto the shaft in an open position, a closing mechanism for unwinding the curtain to the closed position, and a locking mechanism for locking the curtain in the open position.
