  • Publication number: 20150371152
Abstract: Methods, systems, and computer program products for dynamically computing availability for travel inventory items managed by an inventory system. An inventory request is received for a type of travel inventory item managed by the inventory system. One or more types of geographical location data corresponding to the inventory request are determined. At least one of the types of geographical location data is selected to use to compute the availability. At least one geographical inventory control associated with each type of travel inventory item for each geographical location indicated by the selected types of geographical location data is determined. The availability for the inventory request is determined based at least in part on the at least one geographical inventory control determined for each indicated geographical location.

  • Patent number: 8650054
Abstract: Disclosed is a computer-implemented method and system to perform a travel-related Availability Computation. The method includes, at an Inventory System, initiating an Availability Computation by retrieving information relevant to a received availability computation inquiry; determining that portion of a travel solution that corresponds to a reference carrier and a context to be prorated; making a call to a Proration Service and providing the Proration Service with applicable context information; receiving from the Proration Service proration information comprised of a calculated adjusted Yield or a calculated adjustment factor to be applied to the Yield, the Proration Service using proration data that is maintained by a Revenue Accounting System to make the calculation; and completing the Availability Computation using the adjusted Yield or the adjustment factor to be applied to the Yield.

  • Patent number: 7662610
Abstract: A process for the preparation of an acid of formula (I), as the individual (R) enantiomer or (S), or a salt thereof wherein R is a protected amino group; and the asterisk * denotes the stereogenic carbon atom, comprising contacting an ester of formula (II), as mixture of (R,S) enantiomers, or a salt thereof, wherein R1 is straight or branched C1-C6 alkyl, optionally substituted with phenyl; (the asterisk * and R defined above), with a lipase from Candida antarctica, under conditions effective to obtain a mixture comprising an acid of formula (I), as the individual (R) enantiomer, and an ester of formula (II), as the individual (S) enantiomer; the subsequent hydrolysis of the latter to obtain an acid of formula (I), as the individual (S) enantiomer; and, if desired, the conversion of an acid of formula (I), either as the (R) or (S) enantiomer, to a salt thereof.

  • Publication number: 20080311635
Abstract: A process for the preparation of (S)(+)-3-(aminomethyl)-5-methylhexanoic acid (pregabalin) of formula (I) or a salt thereof, comprising the reaction of a compound of formula (II) with an alcohol ROH, in the presence or absence of enzyme, to give a compound of formula (III) as herein defined the transformation of a compound of formula (III) into a compound of formula (VI) or (VIII) as herein defined, and the subsequent hydrolysis of a compound of formula (VI) or (VIII), to give pregabalin.
