Patent number: 12359474Abstract: A motor vehicle lock includes a lock latch, at least one pawl, an electric drive arrangement, and a drive controller. The drive controller controls the drive arrangement to carry out an opening movement that adjusts an adjusting arrangement of the lock from a starting position to a raising position of the adjusting arrangement, in which the adjusting arrangement raises the pawl. A clutch arrangement is arranged between an actuating lever and the pawl, wherein, in an intermediate position, the adjusting arrangement shifts, in the opening movement, the clutch arrangement out of the disengaging state into the engaging state, before the adjusting arrangement raises the pawl when the raising position is reached. In an unlocking routine, the controller controls the drive arrangement to start the opening movement, and, responsive to an intermediate position criterion representative being met, modifies the control such that the adjusting arrangement does not reach the raising position.Type: GrantFiled: September 21, 2021Date of Patent: July 15, 2025Assignee: Brose Schließsysteme GmbH & Co. KommanditgesellschaftInventors: Ludger Graute, Markus Zillert, Serkan Gülkan, Andreas Hoffmann

Patent number: 9006573Abstract: A motor vehicle lock containing mechanical locking elements and/or latching elements as well as electrical, electromotive, and/or electronic components that interact with the mechanical locking elements and/or latching elements, wherein the electrical, electromotive, and/or electronic components are attached to a part of a housing (10), wherein an electric line attached to the part of the housing (10) is connected to at least one of the electrical, electromotive, and/or electronic components, wherein the electric line comprises a single-strand or multi-strand, flexible cable, wherein a cable path (19a, 19b) of the cable (8) passes through a cable conduit (15) disposed in the part of the housing (10), wherein the cable conduit (15) comprises a permanently, plastically-deformed material, at least at one side of the cable path (19a, 19b), whereby a deformation (V) in the material immobilizes the cable (8) in the cable conduit (15).Type: GrantFiled: July 1, 2010Date of Patent: April 14, 2015Assignee: Kiekert AGInventors: Thorsten Bendel, Karsten Barth, Serkan Gülkan, Ulrich Weichsel -
Patent number: 8955889Abstract: The invention relates to a lock for a motor vehicle with a locking mechanism including a catch and a pawl. The object of the invention is to simplify the locking of a lock of the type mentioned above. To achieve the object of the invention, a catch of the claimed lock comprises a stop projecting upwards, e.g., in the form of a pin extending from the catch. Furthermore, a bracket is provided, which can be moved against the stop by means of a motor such that the catch is moved in this way from the first position and into the primary position. It is thus possible to move from the first position to the primary position in a motorized manner, which makes it easier to close the vehicle door.Type: GrantFiled: June 11, 2010Date of Patent: February 17, 2015Assignee: Kiekert AGInventors: Thorsten Bendel, Karsten Barth, Serkan Gülkan, Ulrich Weichsel, Claus Töpfer
