  • Publication number: 20260175198
Abstract: Salt modified aluminoborates and processes of producing them are described. The salt modified aluminoborate has a weight ratio of Al:B in the range of 1.5 to 2.5, and it has an XRD diffraction pattern substantially similar to the XRD pattern of known aluminoborates. It can be produced using temperatures in the range of 20° C. to 40° C. and a solid:liquid ratio of 1:20 to 1:100, or temperatures in the range of 50 to 100° C. and a solid:liquid ratio of 1:10 to 1:40 will produce a salt modified aluminoborate with the properties described below. Calcining the salt modified aluminoborate produces different XRD diffraction patterns depending on the temperature used for the calcining.

  • Patent number: 12285746
Abstract: A catalyst is provided for hydrodeoxygenation and hydroisomerization of paraffins having higher activity. The catalyst contains a molecular sieve, such as SAPO-11, a metal component such as platinum and/or palladium or nickel tungsten sulfide or nickel molybdenum sulfide and a binder such as gamma alumina. The catalyst exhibits a high proportion of weak acid sites and a relatively equal distribution of the metal component on the molecular sieve and the binder.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: July 11, 2023
Date of Patent: April 29, 2025
    Assignee: UOP LLC

  • Patent number: 10654817
Abstract: Novel 1-oxa-4-azonium cyclohexane salts are described. These compounds can be used as structure directing agents, and they overcome many of the typical problems associated with OSDA synthesis and subsequent zeolite synthesis. Methods for synthesis of the 1-oxa-4-azonium cyclohexane salts from a variety of starting materials are also described. A substituted hydrocarbon is added to water to form a mixture, and a 1-oxa-4-azacyclohexane derivative is then added. The reaction mixture stirred until a solution containing the 1-oxa-4-azonium cyclohexane salt is obtained.
