    Abstract: A decontamination wipe has an outer layer, an adsorption layer, and a next-to-skin layer. The outer layer can have reduced weight without a corresponding reduction of strength and improved surface smoothness, both as a result of improved interlocking achieved by the outer layer having been single- or multiple-punched. The adsorption layer can be include fibers having diameter of less than approximately 500 nanometers. The next-to-skin layer can have reduced weight without a corresponding reduction of strength and improved surface smoothness, both as a result of improved interlocking achieved by the next-to-skin layer having been multiple-punched.
