  • Patent number: 10252448
Abstract: Provided are methods for heat curing of various materials, such as heat curable materials or more specifically potting compounds, which are disposed within cavities with limited access to these materials. Also provided are curing for executing such methods. In some embodiments, a heat curable material disposed within a cavity may be heated by a heating rod protruding into the cavity or through the cavity. The heating rod is thermally coupled to the heat curable material and is used to transfer heat to the heat curable material. For example, the heating rod may include a resistive heating element. The heating element may be positioned in such a way that the heat curable material is selectively heated within the cavity without significant heating of surrounding components. In some embodiments, the heating rod may be also used to compress the part containing the cavity or a stack including this part.
    Type: Grant

  • Publication number: 20080026827
Abstract: Method and apparatus employed by an amusement gaming system for setting up a game for one or a plurality of players including controlling a numbers of factors such as regulating rate of play, betting limits, providing advertising matter, creating a tournament, to name just a few. The system typically includes a plurality of player stations each having a display and user interface controls communicating with a central controller for storing and accumulating data such as the aforementioned factors as well as player profiles and players history of prior individual and tournament play. Table and/or community displays are provided for entertainment and ease of viewing by both players and spectators. Players' displays are limited to displaying only items specific to the player at that player station. Formulas are stored by the controller for determining player awards. The regulation of play is automatic with the option of adjusting factors affecting play under control of a system manager.

  • Publication number: 20070243929
Abstract: A method, system, and software is provided enabling a player, engaged in a game at an electronic gaming table, to request an additional hand, and/or request participation in another electronic game. A player can request additional hand or game; specifically selecting from an additional hand at the current table he/she is playing at (or home table), an additional hand at a remote table or a hand at a virtual table. It is also possible for system to automatically determine the most appropriate location for the additional hand and establish that proposed hand's location while presenting this as an option to the player. Establishment of the additional hands as part of the current table, another physical table, or a virtual table can be done based on optimization of the revenue for the gambling establishment.
