  • Publication number: 20250003776
Abstract: A protective shield for a sensor subassembly is disclosed. The protective shield includes a cover member and a plurality of mounting tabs. The plurality of mounting tabs extend from the cover member. Each of the plurality of mounting tabs is adapted to engage with a sensor housing of the sensor subassembly, such that the cover member is adapted to cover at least one sensor accommodated in the sensor subassembly. The provision of the cover member prevents at least one of heat, ambient particulate matter, particles or spray of liquid that may be present in the HVAC environment (such as water, oil, and refrigerant), vibration, electrical noise, and other emissions within the environment of the HVAC system from directly contacting the at least one sensor accommodated in the sensor housing.

  • Patent number: 11609573
Abstract: Various embodiments are directed to a method for docking a robotic platform. The method may include receiving a robotic platform onto a ramp of a docking station. The docking station may include the ramp, a roller assembly, a base pad, and a roller backstop assembly. The ramp may have a first side and a second side opposing the first side. The method may further include guiding, by the roller assembly, the robotic platform as the robotic platform is being driven onto ramp such that the robotic platform continues powered travel over the ramp when the robotic platform approaches the ramp within an angle range of 0 and 15 degrees with respect to either of the first and second sides of the ramp. The method may further include receiving, by the roller backstop assembly, the robotic platform from the roller assembly and then docking the robotic platform.

  • Patent number: 11345250
Abstract: Various embodiments are directed to a docking station for a robotic platform. The docking station may include a ramp having a first side and a second side opposing the first side, a base pad, a roller assembly, and a roller backstop assembly. The roller assembly may be coupled to the ramp and the base pad. The roller assembly may be configured to allow a robotic platform being driven towards the ramp to continue powered travel onto the ramp for docking when the robotic platform approaches the ramp within an angle range of 0 and 15 degrees with respect to either of the first and second sides of the ramp. The roller backstop assembly may be coupled to the roller assembly and the base pad. The roller backstop assembly may receive the robotic platform from the roller assembly to dock the robotic platform.

  • Patent number: 10692279
Abstract: Various embodiments are directed to making partial selections of multidimensional information while maintaining a multidimensional structure. A server computing device may receive multidimensional data describing a structure of a physical object from one or more sources. The server computing device may then determine a data subset representative of the multidimensional data describing the structure of the physical object. The server computing device may then store the data subset on a storage device. Finally, the server computing device may send the data subset to a client computing device for displaying the structure of the physical object. The data subset may enable the client computing device to utilize fewer hardware computing processing, memory, and bandwidth resources to display the structure of the physical object than are associated with displaying the physical object using the multidimensional data. The client computing device may be incapable of displaying the multidimensional data.

  • Patent number: 10643379
Abstract: Various embodiments are directed to facilitating imagery and point-cloud based facility modeling and remote change detection. A computing device may receive collected data for a facility. The collected data may include spatial image data obtained from light detection imaging and ranging systems (LiDAR), multispectral data, and thermal data. The computing device may then analyze, based on software models generated for previously collected data for the facility, the collected data to determine changes in the previously collected data. The computing device may then update the models upon determining changes in the previously collected data. Finally, the computing device may generate an alert based on the updated models when any changes in the previously collected data are above a predetermined threshold corresponding to a current security or operational condition associated with the facility.

  • Patent number: 9921716
Abstract: A request to display a portion of a full-screen content overlay options menu of a multiple media player device is detected by the multiple media player device that represents less than all of the full-screen content overlay options menu. A media type of content media currently accessed by the multiple media player device is determined. A current setting status of an available adjustment of the multiple media player device associated with the portion of the full-screen content overlay options menu based upon the determined media type of content media currently accessed by the multiple media player device is determined. A first graphical menu pane of the full-screen content overlay options menu, including the current setting status of the available adjustment, is displayed over full-screen content on a display. This abstract is not to be considered limiting, since other embodiments may deviate from the features described in this abstract.

  • Patent number: 9032293
Abstract: A media type currently associated with a multiple media player device is determined by the multiple media player device. A current setting status associated with each of a set of adjustable options associated with the determined media type is determined. A set of option icons that each represents one of the set of adjustable options is identified. Each identified option icon is paired with the associated current setting status of each adjustable option. A menuing input is detected. An overlay user interface menu, including only one option icon and the associated current setting status pair, is displayed over full-screen content on a display. This abstract is not to be considered limiting, since other embodiments may deviate from the features described in this abstract.

  • Patent number: 9021531
Abstract: Using a TV, a viewer watching broadcast TV or Internet video content on a display can select a “Video Search” application indicating viewer desire to obtain information about a currently playing video program. The application is invoked to send a name of the currently playing video program to a server on the Internet and associated with a database to cause the server to execute a search only of the database associated with the Internet server and not to execute a search of the Internet. The server returns metadata related to the currently playing video program, which is presented on the display along with the currently playing video program.
