  • Patent number: 12423720
Abstract: A high-demand product processing system may include a seller device associated with a prospective seller, and a high-demand product marketplace server to store historical product data for a given product. The historical product data may include historical product prices and quantities at different times. The server may operate a web crawler to crawl e-commerce websites for current product data for the given product. The current product data may include current product prices and quantities at each of the e-commerce websites. The server may operate a machine learning algorithm to predict whether the given product will be a high-demand product based upon the historical product data and the current product data, and when so, generate an offer-to-purchase the high-demand product, communicate the offer-to-purchase to the seller device, and operate a marketplace to sell the high-demand product at a sales price higher than an offer price associated with the offer-to-purchase.

  • Patent number: 12327257
Abstract: A fresh food return processing system may include a mobile wireless communications device associated with a user to obtain an image of a previously purchased fresh food product, and initiate a mobile return of the previously purchased fresh food product based upon the image. A server may store a product purchase history associated with the user, obtain the image from the mobile wireless communications device, and provide the image to a machine learning algorithm to train the machine learning algorithm to identify the previously purchased fresh food product from the image. The server may also verify a purchase by the given user based upon comparing the identification of the image via the machine learning algorithm and the product purchase history associated with the given user, and generate and communicate a user credit redeemable toward a future purchase based upon verifying the purchase by the user.

  • Patent number: 12026736
Abstract: A product reclamation system may include a mobile device associated with a given user. The mobile device may be configured to obtain an image of a product to be discarded. The system may also include a reclamation server configured to obtain the image of the product from the mobile device, and apply image recognition techniques to the obtained image to determine if the product is a reclaimable product. The server is configured to, when the product is determined to be a reclaimable product, operate a machine learning algorithm to determine a reclamation value for the reclaimable product, communicate the reclamation value to the mobile device, and prompt the given user, via the mobile device, to send the reclaimable product to a reclamation facility in exchange for the reclamation value, and generate and communicate a digital promotion to the mobile device based upon sending the product to the reclamation facility.

  • Patent number: 11721432
Abstract: A medication inventory system may include a medication tray that includes compartments for storing respective medications. The medication tray may have a tray identifier associated therewith. The system may also include a mobile wireless communications device configured to obtain at least one image of the medication tray, and apply a Hough line detection algorithm to the at least one image to determine a boundary outline of the medication tray. The mobile wireless communications device may also be configured to generate a current medication stocking list of the medication tray based upon the boundary outline and the tray identifier from the at least one image.

  • Patent number: 11462312
Abstract: A medication inventory system may include a medication tray that includes compartments for storing respective medications with each medication having a respective medication identifier associated therewith. The medication tray may have a tray identifier associated therewith. The medication inventory system may also include a mobile wireless communications device configured to obtain images of the medication tray and generate a current medication stocking list of the medication tray from the images. The medication inventory system may also be configured to determine a desired medication stocking list for the medication tray based upon the tray identifier and determine at least one missing medication based upon the current medication stocking list and the desired medication stocking list.

  • Patent number: 11144874
Abstract: A product returns processing system may include mobile devices communicating respective purchase transaction receipts for respective products. The system may also include a returns processing server including a processor and a memory. The memory may store the purchase transaction receipts, for each product, a product return rule, a product availability status, and a disposition, and for each user, a return mode preference. The processor may determine a return expiration for each product based upon a respective product return rule, send a notice to each mobile device based upon a respective return window expiration, and receive a return request. The processor may, when the request is received before a return expiration, determine a product availability and condition, determine a return address based upon the disposition and at least one of the product availability and condition, and generate a label with the return address and based upon the return mode preference.
