Abstract: Systems, methods and computer readable media are provided that facilitate establishing a personal health network (PHN). In an embodiment, as system can include an authorization component configured to receive authorization information indentifying one or more entities that a patient authorizes for inclusion in a PHN of the patient. The system can further include an access component configured to provide the one or more entities access to healthcare information regarding healthcare of the patient via respective devices of the one or more entities based on inclusion of the one or more entities in the PHN of the patient, and a connection component configured to facilitate communication between the one or more entities and the patient regarding the healthcare of the patient via the respective devices of the one or more entities and the patient device based on inclusion of the one or more entities in the PHN of the patient.

Abstract: A flow control device for blocking the flow of analgesic gas to the mask of an analgesic system includes a bellows-bulb at the distal end of the breathing circuit. The device can be easily operated by hand. By depressing the bellows when the mask is removed, gaseous pollution, such as nitrous oxide or other gas pollution, can be controlled while the system is purged.
