The sunk keys 4 have a length not larger than the length of the brush elements U, and each of the sunk keys 4 is expandable or contractable widthwise and tightly engageable in the keyway 5 when being expanded. The sunk key 4 is disengageable therefrom when being contracted. The sunk key 4 is prevented from slipping out of the keyway 5 by a retainer C when being contracted and fitted in the keyway 5.
