  • Patent number: 8653983
Abstract: Provided is a monitoring and control system which, by displaying memo information created by an operator on an arbitrary system screen, can enhance freedom of memo display and fully exhibit the effectiveness of memo information. A memo data operation portion 4 receives an input of memo information from an input device 2, imparts attribute information relating to an arbitrary system screen to the memo information, and outputs this with the memo information to a client-side data management portion 6. A display device 1 displays the memo information on a system screen having attribute information.

  • Patent number: 8473609
Abstract: According to one embodiment, a server 11 performs aggregate signal processing for n-to-one signal transmission. The processing includes waiting processing and time adjusting processing. In the waiting processing, from a time point where a first constitutional element signal constituting a specific aggregate signal bound for the upper level control center reaches the server until a wait time that is based on a preset condition elapses, the server waits for another constitutional element signal of the specific aggregate signal to arrive (S202-S208). In the time adjusting processing, the server extracts an earliest generation time from generation times attached respectively to constitutional element signals arriving during the waiting processing, and attaches the extracted time as a generation time of the specific aggregate signal (S210).

  • Patent number: 6845301
Abstract: The present invention relates to a system for protecting and controlling main-circuit components of an electricity transmission substation. The system includes devices for digital data output, protection-and-controlling, component controlling-and-monitoring, and communication. The digital data output devices input analogue AC electric values and output digital data. The protection-and-controlling devices input the data from the digital data output devices, and further control, monitor, and protect the substation main-circuit components. The component controlling-and-monitoring devices receive commands from the protection-and-controlling devices or from the substation controlling-and-monitoring equipment, and further control and monitor the substation main-circuit components. The devices for digital data output, the protection-and-controlling, and component controlling-and-monitoring are disposed near or within their corresponding substation main-circuit components.

  • Patent number: 4541572
Abstract: Disclosed is a pulverizing, drying and transporting system for a pulverized fuel of a blast furnace of the type having at least one hot stove for supplying hot blast air, said hot stove also providing hot stove exhaust gas. The system includes a pulverizing and drying unit for pulverizing lamp raw fuel and drying the pulverized fuel. The hot stove gas is supplied to the pulverizing and drying unit. The hot stove exhaust gas dries the pulverized fuel and conveys it to a pulverized fuel collecting and separating device which separates the gas from the pulverized fuel. The line supplying the hot stove gas to the pulverizing and drying unit includes a heating device for selectively supplying additional heat to the hot stove exhaust gas. Moreover, the line for supplying the hot stove gas to the pulverizing and drying unit can include at least one of a temperature stabilizing device and a cooling device.

  • Patent number: 4490171
Abstract: A method for injecting a pulverized fuel into a blast furnace uses a pulverulent fuel injecting burner which is protruded into a blow pipe through a wall thereof near the tuyere of a blast furnace. The burner injects a pulverized fuel into the blast furnace along with a hot blast of air at a temperature higher than 950.degree. C. flowing through the blow pipe. The tip end of the burner is located at a distance L between 100 and 350 mm upstream from the boundary between the tuyere of the blast furnace and the blow pipe. According to one embodiment, the tip of the furnace is tapered by an angle .theta..ltoreq.1400L.sup.2 -1290L+295. According to a second embodiment, the inner diameter B.sub.1 of the blow pipe, and the inner and outer diameters of the burner tip (d and D) are selected such that 0.1.ltoreq.(D/Bi).ltoreq.0.25 and 0.6.ltoreq.(d/D).ltoreq.0.8. According to a third embodiment, the burner tip is removable.

  • Patent number: 4473352
Abstract: In a double-incline shaft kiln in which ore materials are charged into the furnace from the top of a vertical external portion of the shaft and are calcined by burners installed in the lower portion of the shaft, the calcining zone is effectively extended by the provision of an injector which causes the hot gas to flow in the lower portion of the shaft parallel to the flow of ore materials. Further, at the turnover locations for the ore descending through the shaft, the width of the shaft is broken into at least two portions which promotes a more even velocity of the material flow across the width of the shaft so as to enable combustion control and the prevention of the ash of solid fuel, such as coal, from mixing with the calcined material to cause discoloration and lumps.
