  • Publication number: 20110234800
Abstract: According to one embodiment, an image processing device includes a control signal generator, a selector, a memory, and a combined image generator. The control signal generator is configured to detect a synchronization pulse from a vertical synchronization signal in each of a plurality of video signals and configured to generate a first control signal indicative of selecting one video signal of the plurality of video signals of which the synchronization pulse is detected in turn for a predetermined period. The selector is configured to select the one video signal of the plurality of video signals according to the first control signal. The memory is configured to store the selected video signal in one region of a plurality of regions corresponding to the selected video signal in a predetermined format. The combined image generator is configured to generate a combined image by combining the plurality of video signals stored in the plurality of regions.

  • Patent number: 7787339
Abstract: A reproducing position control circuit has a reading part for reading data stored in a recording medium, a position information detecting part for detecting the position information of data read by said reading part within said recording medium, and a control part for storing said position information detected by said position information detecting part in a volatile memory, and retrieving said position information within said volatile memory to store it in a writable non-volatile memory when the power is turned off or after a predetermined time passes since the power is turned off.

  • Publication number: 20070230911
Abstract: A video/audio reproducing device has a contents discriminating section which discriminates whether contents of data recorded in a first recording medium and contents of data stored in a second storage medium are still image data, moving image data, or audio data; a contents display section which displays contents of data discriminated by the contents discriminating section; a video switching section which switches and outputs the still image data and the moving image data which are stored in the first and second recording media; an audio switching section which switches and outputs the audio data stored in the first or second recording medium; a switch input section which controls switching of the outputs of the video switching section and the audio switching section according to an input of a selection signal for selecting data to be reproduced; a video output section which outputs still images or moving images on the basis of the output of the video switching section; and an audio output section which outpu

  • Patent number: 5684768
Abstract: A data unit is constructed of a header, sound data, and image data. The sound data and the image data are data sampled at predetermined unit time intervals. These data are divided at predetermined positions of the unit. The header and sound data are fixed length type data. The image data may be fixed length type data or variable length type. Even if the image data is compressed variable length type data, because the sound data is fixed length type data, the recording time of the sound data on a medium can be predicted. Even if a non-correctable error takes place at the header, because the divided positions of these data are fixed, each data can be separated and reproduced from the unit.

  • Patent number: 5579502
Abstract: A memory card apparatus using EEPROMs as semiconductor memories. Externally input data are temporarily recorded in a buffer memory and are subsequently written in the EEPROMs. Verify processing is automatically performed between the buffer memory and the EEPROMs. Similarly, data read out from the EEPROMs are temporarily recorded in the buffer memory and are subsequently output to an external unit. Even with the EEPROMs, it seems that this memory card can be used in the same manner as a memory card using an SRAM, when viewed from the outside of the card.
