  • Publication number: 20150284843
Abstract: Disclosed are a coating layer of a zirconium composite material which can be applied to a friction portion and the like of a power train part of a vehicle, and a method of forming the coating layer. In particular, the coating layer of a zirconium composite material includes a ZrCuAlMo layer that is an intermediate layer for close contact force and a ZrCuAlMoN layer that is a functional layer for a low friction coefficient and durability and the ZrCuAlMo layer and ZrCuAlMoN layer are sequentially laminated on a surface of a base material to reduce friction of the friction portion. Accordingly, wear resistance, durability life, and the like may be improved, close contact force with the base material may be improved, and impact resistance and the like may be enhanced.
