Abstract: A curved display device and method for manufacturing the same is provided. The method for manufacturing a curved display device may include providing a display panel, a plurality of signal transfer elements, and a plurality of printed circuit boards, connecting one end of each of the signal transfer elements to the display panel and connecting the other end of each of the signal transfer elements to one of the printed circuit boards, on which one or more division guide portions are formed, dividing each of the printed circuit board into a plurality of sub printed circuit boards through cutting of the division guide portions; and bending the display panel connected to the sub printed circuit boards so that the display panel has a curvature.

Abstract: A tape package includes a body portion including a flexible material, a driving circuit disposed on the body portion, a first sub-connection portion extending from the body portion in a first direction, a first main-connection portion extending from the first sub-connection portion in the first direction, a first lead line including a first end electrically connected to the driving circuit and a second end extending in the first direction, the first end being opposite to the second end and a protrusion extending from the first sub-connection portion in a third direction perpendicular to the first direction on a same plane with the first sub-connection portion. Accordingly, a crack of the lead line may be reduced or effectively prevented.

Abstract: In an LCD apparatus capable of preventing the separation of a plurality of thin films from each other and improving image display quality, the LCD apparatus includes a plurality of layers such as a glass substrate, an organic layer disposed on the glass substrate, an inorganic transparent electrode formed on the organic layer and a sealant having an organic material. The transparent electrode corresponding to the sealant is patterned so that the organic layer makes contact with the sealant, directly, thereby preventing the leakage of the liquid crystal. Therefore, the image display quality of the LCD apparatus is improved.
