    Abstract: There are provided a lighting lens, a lighting lens array, and a lighting apparatus. The lighting lens may include an incidence part to receive light from a light source and an emission part to emit light provided from the incidence part. The incidence part may have a concave region that contains a light source and a first protrusion at a rear side of the light source that protrudes downwards from a top surface of the concave region. The emission part may include a dome-shaped part that encloses the incidence part and a second protrusion at the rear side of the light source that protrudes upwards from a top surface of the dome-shaped part. A lowermost portion of the emission part may be formed at a first plane, and an angle between an outer surface of the emission part and the first plane is an obtuse angle.

    Abstract: A light emitting module is configured to provide substantially uniform lighting using a plurality of lighting sources. The light emitting module includes a diffusion plate disposed at a set distance from the light emitting module. A light source substrate has a substantially quadrilateral outer perimeter with at least one gap formed therein, and a plurality of light sources are disposed on the light source substrate according to a repeated quadrilateral pattern. A distance between adjacent light sources in the repeated quadrilateral pattern is selected based on the set distance h from the diffusion plate to the light emitting module, and on a greater of two diagonal distances x, y of the quadrilateral pattern. The diffusion plate diffuses light emitted by the light sources to provide substantially uniform light. Various other aspects of the light emitting module are additionally described.

A light transmitting sheet is attached to cover the liquid-phase resin. A plurality of lenses is formed by curing the liquid-phase resin. The light transmitting sheet on which the plurality of lenses are formed is separated from the mold. The light transmitting sheet is cut. A light emitting module is prepared including a body portion containing a plurality of light emitting devices and a groove portion spaced apart from the plurality of light emitting devices, and slidably coupling the cut light transmitting sheet to the groove portion so as to allow positions of the plurality of light emitting devices to be aligned with positions of the plurality of lenses.

    Abstract: A lens is provided in an asymmetric shape including at least two curved surfaces with different light distribution angles. Therefore, uniformity ratio of illuminance and coefficient of utilization (CU) may be increased while reducing dazzle. When a lighting apparatus including the lens is used as a street light, light directly incident to a driver is minimized, thereby reducing dazzle to the driver. During a night drive, brightness at a far forward position of the driver may be increased. In addition, light emitted toward a street may be increased while reducing light emitted toward a sidewalk. As a result, uniformity ratio of illuminance and coefficient of utilization (CU) may be increased. Also, light pollution may be reduced.
