  • Publication number: 20080217323
Abstract: A heating device having an improved heat resistance structure is provided. The heating device may include a heating element that generates heat, and an elastic conductive part that applies electricity to the heating element. A connector may be provided between the elastic conductive part and the heating element to preclude direct contact between the heating element and the elastic conductive part. The heating element may be fixed to one side of the connector, and the elastic conductive part may be fixed to the other side of the connector to allow current applied from the elastic conductive part to flow to the heating element.

  • Publication number: 20080185374
Abstract: A burner for a glass top stove includes a heating element, and a reflector. The reflector is shaped to reflect heat and light emitted down and to the sides of the heater back up to the glass top of the burner. The reflector is shaped to form multiple images of the heater on the glass plate. This ensures uniform heating of the glass plate. It also causes a user to believe that there are more heaters than are actually mounted on the burner.

  • Patent number: 7281898
Abstract: Disclosed herein is a blowing apparatus for refrigerators. The blowing apparatus includes a centrifugal fan. The centrifugal fan comprises a hub plate connected to a shaft of the motor, a plurality of blades attached to the hub plate in the radial direction of the hub plate for forcing cool air to flow, and a ring-shaped shroud connected to ends of the blades. The ratio of the inner diameter of the centrifugal fan, formed through connection of the inner ends of the blades, to the outer diameter of the centrifugal fan, formed through connection of the outer ends of the blades, is 0.63±0.01. With the blowing apparatus for refrigerators according to the present invention, flow loss is minimized. Consequently, the present invention has the effect that energy consumption is reduced, noise is decreased, and thus the refrigerator is quietly operated.

  • Publication number: 20070131675
Abstract: An electric cooker having a composite heat source comprising: an external case having an air inlet and an air outlet; a cooking plate on an upper surface of the external case to be a top plate; a heat generating unit including a work coil and/or an electric heater, mounted between the external case and the cooking plate for coaxial arrangement with the air inlet; and a heat radiation unit including a fan motor and air ducts, coaxially arranged between the air inlet and the heat generating unit, such that sufficient cooling effect can be achieved even with a small-sized blow fan of a small capacity. The manufacturing cost can be reduced, and an effective utilization of space for parts arrangement can be enhanced using the relatively small capacity of blowing fan, enabling to manufacture an electric cooker in a thin, light, simple and compact manner.

  • Patent number: 6584799
Abstract: A cooling air blowing apparatus of a refrigerator includes: a driving motor fixed at a motor mount formed at a rear side of a freezing chamber; a blowing fan mounted on a rotational shaft of the driving motor and configured to blow cooling air in both an axial and a radial direction as the driving motor is driven; and a shroud positioned in a circumferential direction of the blowing fan. The blowing fan includes turbo blades for blowing cooling air in a radial direction in addition to the axial flow blade for blowing cooling air in an axial direction. The cooling air blown in the axial direction is sent to a freezing chamber, while the cooling air blown in the radial direction is sent to the cooling chamber. Thus, the blowing fan with the turbo blades ensures that in a refrigerator having a complicated and long cooling air passage structure, cooling air can be circulated smoothly and quickly.

  • Publication number: 20030024264
Abstract: A cooling air blowing apparatus of a refrigerator includes: a driving motor fixed at a motor mound formed at a rear side of a freezing chamber; a blowing fan mounted at a rotational shaft of the driving motor and blowing cooling air in a suction direction along the axis direction and blowing cooling air in a suction direction along a radial direction, while being rotated as the driving motor is driven; and a shroud positioned in a circumferential direction of the blowing fan. The blowing fan for blowing cooling air into the cooling chamber and the freezing chamber includes a turbo blade for blowing cooling air in a radial direction of the direction in which cooling air is blown in addition to the axial flow blade for blowing cooling air in an axial direction of the direction in which cooling air is blown, to supply cooling air into the freezing chamber and the cooling air chamber. Thus, in the complicated and long cooling air passage structure, cooling air can be circulated smoothly and quickly.
